Hi! I’m Sydney, the founder of The Village Doula Collective, LLC. My journey into birth work began nearly a decade ago while working as a nanny. What started as childcare evolved into something deeper—I found myself supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I realized how much I loved being part of that transformative time. That experience led me to become a doula, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate, informed, and inclusive care. I am a certified full-spectrum doula, trained through the Somatic Arts & Sciences Institute, with additional education from organizations such as Cornerstone Doula Trainings, and Birth Advocacy Doula Training. I also received my Lactation Education Specialist training from Santiago Canyon College. I’ve had the honor of attending births and supporting families through postpartum recovery, and my passion for this work continues to grow. With a bachelor’s degree in sociology, I understand that birth support is not just about physical care—it’s about addressing the systemic disparities that impact birthing people, particularly in BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. My mission is to make doula care accessible and equitable, ensuring that every family—regardless of income, background, or identity—has the support they need. At The Village Doula Collective, we believe in the power of community. Whether through direct support, education, or advocacy, we’re here to uplift birthing people and the doulas who serve them.

As an experienced mother and surrogate, certified birth doula, ordained priestess, and women's circle facilitator, I am dedicated to supporting women through all stages and outcomes of pregnancy. I have also experienced miscarriage, pregnancy termination, and fertility issues. My goal is to provide personalized care and guidance, ensuring a safe, supported, and empowering pregnancy outcome for every client. Hey There, I'm Morgan Dietz, certified childbirth educator, doula & founder of the Miracles in the Making Support Network. Initially inspired by being included in the natural, midwife led birth of my youngest sister when I was a child, motivated by witnessing various forms of medicated births in my early 20's, followed by the liberating experiences of my own natural births, I began sharing my passion with all who would listen. Hey there, my name is Caroline Patterson and I'm a Certified Birth Doula under DONA. I've been a Doula since 2018 and absolutely love what I do! I've attended births in hospitals, homes, and birth centers. I have an herbal body care business and am deciding to pursue my path to becoming a midwife soon, as well. I live in Oregon House which makes for a unique location to be able to provide services in both Yuba and Nevada County and surrounding areas. I believe in holding space for my clients and making sure they feel safe, seen, and heard. I empower you by supporting you in making your own informed and intuitive decisions—you know your body and baby better than anyone else. While healthcare providers do a wonderful job making sure your little one is delivered safely, my main focus is on your specific needs, desires, emotions, and comfort. Hi! I am a birth and postpartum doula. I provide self paced childbirth education as part of my support package because I want the families I work with to be informed and empowered. I believe postpartum nourishment is very important and that’s why home cooked, nutrient dense meals and lactation snacks are also a part of what I offer.
