Michaela (Mikki) Bell is the face behind TheDoulaBell and has really been preparing for this gifting her whole life. She jokes, "The first doula client I ever had was a momma sheep out on our family friend's farm in Colorado when I was 9 years old. That was the first birth I ever participated in and since then, I've been so enthralled with birth in every form." I found my way to birth work through a journey of infertility and loss. I have found my passion in helping others transition through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

After having 6 home births of my own, I knew that I wanted to help other families have beautiful birth & postpartum experiences. I used Hypnobirthing methods for all of my own births. In 2011 I was trained as a (DONA international) Doula. Since then I was trained in Hypnobirthing methods, Belly binding, Abhyanga massage, natural doctoring, and other holistic practices. I have attended many different types of births, including hospital, home and birthing center births. I also offer in person and virtual child birth education and preparation.
