Chrissy takes a relational approach to counseling by creating a non-judgmental, empathic environment for her clients as they navigate through life. She is a culturally competent, relational therapist who helps clients move toward wholeheartedness. Becoming a parent is a significant life change that is often filled with what could be seen as contradictory emotions and experiences such as grief and joy, loss and gain, and anger and excitement. She works with clients to navigate the tension of creating space for all emotions and experiences that arise. Chrissy works with clients using a multi-faceted approach including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems approaches as well as pulling from other therapies when appropriate.
