I had a great birth experience with her at home in welcoming our baby safely into the world. Her services from pregnancy to birth and postpartum were 10/10 by far! I felt taken care of, heard and seen throughout everything as I struggled through pregnancy with extreme nausea and then breastfeeding after. Christine was so helpful, encouraging and kind. She’s the reason I was able to breastfeed in the end with all her extra help, appointments, time and encouragement. I could seriously go on and on about her. We’re bonded for life now❤️ I’d highly recommend her to anyone wanting to do a home birth!

I have known Christine, with Score’s Midwifery for over eight years, and she has been part of some of the most vulnerable, healing, and life-changing seasons of my life. My first pregnancy ended in an emergency C-section, and it left me terrified. After that experience, I was scared not only of being pregnant again, but of giving birth at all. I had always dreamed of experiencing a vaginal birth. I truly believe vaginal birth is one of the most powerful and beautiful things a woman can go through — even with the pain — and I was heartbroken thinking that option might not be possible for me. Around that same time, my oldest daughter was dealing with medical issues. Christine listened to my concerns and gently suggested natural supports we could try, and they truly helped. That was when I first realized how deeply she cares — not just about birth, but about families as a whole. When I became pregnant with my second child, my biggest fear was whether I could have a VBAC. From the very beginning, I knew I needed Christine’s support. She was still in school working toward her license then, but she walked with me as a doula and soon-to-be midwife. She answered every question, addressed every fear, and supported me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Even though I delivered at a local hospital, having her steady presence made all the difference. Six years later, I became pregnant with our third — our baby boy. I was older and scared, especially knowing my anemia had complicated every pregnancy. Christine was one of the very first people we told. Instead of feeding fear, she cheered us on. She helped me tailor my diet, found the right supplements to improve my hemoglobin (instead of just prescribing iron that never worked for me before), and constantly reassured me — while always keeping safety first. She made it clear she would never risk my life or my baby’s life. I dreamed of a home water birth. The day — or rather the night — it began, my husband was getting ready to go to work when I started feeling small, strange contractions. I texted Christine. My labor lasted about 17 hours total, all in the same day. When she first came to check on me, she reassured me and even suggested we leave the house for a bit to remove the “birth atmosphere” and get some rest. She constantly encouraged me to eat and rest between contractions so I would have the strength I needed. When active labor hit, everything happened fast. Within two hours, there was no turning back — baby was coming. Christine arrived before her team. It was just her. No extra hands yet. And she handled it with complete calm and confidence. My husband was hands-on, just like we wanted, one of the first to touch and help deliver our baby. My children were there. My mom was there. I had my dream water birth at home, surrounded by my family. After delivery, when things moved quickly and I began hemorrhaging, Christine stayed calm. She knew exactly what to do. She managed everything confidently and immediately. I would have panicked — but she didn’t. She protected me. She handled it swiftly and professionally, even without her full team present yet. For my daughters to witness that birth — to see strength, calm, and support surrounding a woman — meant everything to me. It was healing for me after my previous births, and it was empowering for them. As women, we deserve to be guided, loved, and nurtured. For them to see that firsthand was priceless. Christine is knowledgeable, steady, and incredibly skilled. But more than that, she treats you like family. She bonds with your children. She cares about your husband. She becomes part of your story. Three children later, she is part of our family. If you are looking for a midwife who is compassionate, experienced, supportive of VBACs and home births, and absolutely committed to safety — she is the one.
