I’m planning to give birth at the hospital but am considering no epidural (I would like as little intervention as possible but am open to whatever needs to be done if medically necessary). I’m no sure how much doulas run so I’m just looking I get an estimate on cost before I really consider it.
My wife and I are expecting our first child on May 25, 2026. As this is our first experience, we are seeking additional support to help guide us through the birth process at the hospital. We are particularly interested in understanding what services are available to assist us in ensuring a smooth and well-supported delivery experience.
Plan on giving a hospital birth most likely c-section. Have seen doulas on social media I know different people do different things. I’ve had one baby and wanted to see what it would be like to have another with a doula!
I want an at home delivery. I have health insurance.
Home I have Tenn care and I'm looking for different options.
Hi Amanda! My name is Madyson Williams. I’m currently pregnant with my first baby boy (I’m 30) and currently 16 weeks. I’m really hoping to have a water birth, either at home or at a birth center. I came across your information and would love to learn more about your services and see if we might be a good fit. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!
Prenatal care I will do an at home unassisted birth again . This is my 9th baby if all goes as planned. I live in corner of TN but willing to seek care in GA or NC I have champva in insurance so cost depends in payment plans available
Hi! I will give birth at Erlanger East Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. This will be our first baby. Looking for support leading up to birth and during the birth to support both me and my husband. No clue what sort of pricing this looks like so looking forward to hearing more. I would love to avoid a C-section if possible. Other than that, I would love a calm birth where I feel comfortable and supported and not stressed. Would love lactation support as well. No requirements, would love someone with great reviews.
I want a doula who will help lead me with knowledge going through pregnancy and through labor. Due to being a single mother I want to have someone there who will help support me and advocate for me! This will be my first baby and I’m so excited!
I would ideally like to have a home birth or go to a birthing center. But also lean toward hospital incase anything were to happen. I don’t know what normal budget for a doula is, I am a first time mom and will do my research on this. I would like to have immediate skin to skin when baby is born. I do not want my baby taken out of the room at all for any reason. I do not want anything done to myself or baby with getting consent and explaining in detail what it is/what it is for. I DO NOT want an episiotomy. I want delayed cord clamping until the cord is no longer pulsating and is white. I want to keep my placenta. I the list goes on and on and I would like to discuss more with whoever I choose as my doula.
1. Advent Health in Calhoun Georgia. 2. My insurance covers $1000. 3. I’m not entirely sure. Still working on what I am comfortable with.
