I am currently 35 weeks pregnant, looking for postpartum doula to get support after child birth. I am scheduled for a c-section on April 10 2026, and would need support after I get discharged from the hospital. I got to know my Kaiser insurance covers doula services this year and would like to know more what all support is covered and for how long.

Not yet pregnant (hoping to be by Jan 2026.) Looking for a midwife to come and support me through the entirety of pregnancy, performing regular check ups/ins through out pregnancy and also provide in home birthing supervision/execution. And post partum doula to help out as needed after birth. Estimated budget is $4000. Birth plan would be minimal interventions.

Hi, My husband and I are expecting our first baby boy in late March at El Camino Health (Mountain View). We are looking for postpartum support that focuses primarily on newborn care education and maternal recovery. Our Primary Needs: Newborn Education: We want hands-on teaching for both of us on baby care, including soothing techniques, safe sleep practices, swaddling, and developmental exercises for the baby. Feeding Support: Guidance on breastfeeding/bottle-feeding and establishing a healthy feeding routine. Maternal Care: Support for my recovery (whether from a vaginal birth or a C-section) and monitoring for postpartum wellness. Calming & Routines: Helping us understand baby cues and how to calm a fussy newborn effectively. We have a $1,000 benefit through Walmart’s Premier PPO and would like to know if you have availability starting in late March/early April. I am a first time young mom looking for some extra support and encouragement during both prenatal and postpartum stages. I have so much to learn, and am very interested in someone who is versatile in their practice. My current lifestyle is holistic in nature and would love to find someone who also aligns with my values. I plan to give birth at a hospital and would love a doula, along with my partner there to support me. I would love someone to advocate my needs and be there to execute a strong, peaceful presence. Yoga, healthy eating, photography, and massage therapy would be a bonus! As this is my first time I do not have a set budget, although I am looking for someone who is comfortable with the process of being paid through Kaiser. To my understanding this service is fairly new and does not have a set limit however, I believe in full transparency and any other service outside of what Kaiser will pay I have full intentions of paying for based on an agreed rate.
