Hello, I plan to give birth at home and am open to a water birth. I have tried reaching out to multiple midwives but have not had any luck finding someone available. I am 23 weeks pregnant, feel great, baby is active and am so thankful. I have not seen any doctor and truly do not want to have our first baby in a hospital unless necessary. We are willing to work with your company on price, and understand the flat rate is $6000.00. I have a supportive family who I know will be available to help after baby comes. The main need is having someone qualified and experienced to help deliver our baby at home, and know what to look for during labor for any potential complications and making a wise judgment to get more help. Hi. I am looking for a Doula or Midwife to be present in the delivery room and support with birth and my birth plan. I plan to give birth at The Ottawa Hospital. My birth plan includes delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin, different birthing positions, delayed pain medication.
