I plan to have an unmedicated, natural home birth.

I plan to give birth in a hospital due to my heart condition and I’m not sure what my budget is going to be since I don’t know if insure is going to be willing to help. And I have no clue where to start with a birth plan

I am not sure! We are looking around right now and hopefully will decide between an OBGYN and a midwife.

I want to give birth at home. Our budget is $6,000. Id like a midwife and doula to birth at my home.

Just starting to do research to find the right person to help me on the this journey. We also are planning to not vaccinate our children and would like to find someone who is knowledgeable with unvaccinating. Still doing research, I have so many questions.

Hospital Would like no Hep B infant vaccine, would like the cord to stop pulsating and turn white prior to being cut.

My preferred birth method is a Trial of Labor after 2 Cesarean Sections. I had a very difficult time with my last elective c-section. I had a spinal fluid leak, required several medications and a blood patch, and mentally struggled with coping. I thought I was okay with another c-section, however, I ended up deeply regretting following through. I did have signs of labor approaching (contractions, losing mucus plug), but had a c-section at exactly 40 weeks. I would be okay with another c section if medically necessary. If the facility allows, I’d like to then do a maternal-assisted cesarean section.

First time mom, first pregnancy, so wildly uneducated in all of it! Would prefer to give birth at home or birthing center, hospital as last resort. Not sure on budget, obviously if covered by insurance that’s preferred. Ideally around $6,000. I would prefer an unmedicated birth, and that’s as far as I’ve gotten in a birth plan.

I am not pregnant yet but we hope to start trying soon. One thing that means a lot to me is being able to have a home birth (if the pregnancy and baby are healthy). We don’t have an estimated budget but a home birth means so much to me that money isn’t a concern as of yet. I would like a natural home birth. Very calm and low key. Go about normal daily life as long as possible. Focus on coping mechanisms, relaxation, and distraction techniques. I would also like to have my husband very hands on and bonding together through the process of welcoming our baby into the world.

I’m considering a home Birth but if not then will deliver at Mobap. This is my third baby never had complications before and so far have had an easy pregnancy like my other two. I’m not sure how much a midwife runs. Trying to keep as natural at possible for birth but I know things can change in the blink of an eye. I have gone as long as I could without epidurals in the past but didn’t have anyone with me to help/suggest other things for my partner and I to do to help with pain so ended up with epidurals. (Also always have gone into labor late at night so early morning epidurals made for nice naps.

I plan to give birth at a hospital. I would like to find a Doula who is in network with TRICARE. I would like to labor as long as possible at home before going to the hospital and then wait or avoid medication. I am open to an epidural and pain meds however, if my body is telling me, I need them.

Home or birth center We would like to use as much of our insurance as possible We want to keep it simple and relaxing and not have the temptation of hospital drugs around

Hospital unsure about a budget it’s complicated

Prenatal care I will do an at home unassisted birth again . This is my 9th baby if all goes as planned. I live in corner of TN but willing to seek care in GA or NC I have champva in insurance so cost depends in payment plans available

I plan to give birth at home, where I would be most comfortable. This would be my first child. I want a midwife (versus obgyn) because they are skilled in vaginal deliveries and that is very important for me. I also appreciate that I wouldn't have to worry about driving somewhere while in labor. I like to avoid pharmaceuticals. I use homeopathies, supplements and I would take herbal remedies before using pharmaceuticals. I don't want my midwife to be using crystals or "checking energies". My Christian faith is very important to me and my husband being there to support me in the birth is important too. I have not made a budget yet.

I plan to give birth in a hospital in Irmo,SC. I am hoping insurance will cover portion of cost. I plan on immediate skin to skin contact, no cleaning/bathing, delayed cord clamping, delayed shots and eye ointment. It is crucial that I get the first 2 hours with my baby alone unless medically necessary.

Plan on giving a hospital birth most likely c-section. Have seen doulas on social media I know different people do different things. I’ve had one baby and wanted to see what it would be like to have another with a doula!

I've been exclusively breastfeeding and pumping for my daughter. I've had a bout of mastitis and it's gotten better. I'm now experiencing nipple pain as the areola where my daughter latches is tender. It's so tender that it hurts when rubs against my bra and shirts. I've gotten her latched assessed from another lactation counselor. I'm not sure why I'm having pain still. I'd love the help on getting to the route of the problem.
