I spent most of my young life in Guangzhou, China where my family cared for orphaned newborns. After high school I found a maternity clinic in the Philippines offering midwifery training and began my journey there. After completing an accelerated program, I moved to California and became licensed with the Medical Board of CA. I worked in birth centers to gain further experience, then stepped fully into my own homebirth practice where my passion lies. I love homebirth. I am a postpartum doula and baby nurse with 10+ years of experience caring for infants, children, and adults in both hospital and home settings. Previously, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Pediatrics, Postpartum, and Oncology units at Providence Saint John's and Cedars Sinai.
