I plan on giving birth at home. I need services that would be covered by my Medicaid insurance. Money is tight right now. I want little to no intervention. I’ve been looking into hypnobirthing. I want a very quiet, dark peaceful environment. For pain management I want to try anything that’s natural and soothing for my body. I want very little people in the room… I want to do this alone I could possibly have my partner there with me I’m unsure right now. Ultimately I want a low stress, natural birth experience the way God intended it to go. I know there could possibly be a medical emergency. At that point we can go to the hospital but if everything is going great I would like to stick to the plan.

1. I’ve always wanted to give birth at home however my current obgyn delivers at Emory at midtown I believe. 2. I have no idea how much it’ll cost that’s why I’m researching 3. I genuinely want to go natural birth but I’m unsure how I’ll feel and if I’ll be strong enough once the contractions come.

Help me to create an good birth plan hospital. How much is it cost?

I plan to labor as much as I can at home to limit the amount of time of laboring at the hospital. This is my first birth, I’ve never had experience with a doula. I estimate my budget to be less than $1000. I’m looking for the emotional and physical support/guidance as I would love to have a natural birth.
