No pitocin or c—section unless actually emergent, Unmediated maybe water, intermittent monitoring, birth stool, delayed cord clamping, skin to skin right away and no first bath. I would like to have as least medical interventions as possible however while still in a hospital setting in case it is medically necessary to intervene. I don’t have a set budget as I am unaware of the costs that go into this. But we are willing to work towards meeting our needs. This is my first pregnancy, and I want to try to attempt the whole labor and delivery process without an epidural, if i can or for as long as i can, and if i cant handle it then possibly get an epidural. I need someone to help coach me through the process of labor and delivery when my early labor starts to when i go to hospital and even while pushing. Hello! I just learned of these benefits so I know I’m looking for a doula late. This will be my second birth, my first was a Csection. My OB says I’m a great candidate for a tolac. Because of previous surgery, I anticipate I will have a c-section, but would like to deliver vaginally if possible. I want as natural birth as possible in the sense that I only want medical intervention if it is absolutely necessary (no induction, no episiotomy etc).
