This will be my first delivery, my desire is to do it unmedicated in the hospital. Will like to discuss budget and pricing in person. I will like for my provider to at the least have a masters or higher in education and over 3 years in labor and delivery. Doula is my number one top choice at the moment, I have an OBGYN already.

I will be giving birth at Baylor All saints in Fort Worth. Not sure about a budget yet I just want the best support. My first couple pregnancies were rough. I’m in a season of trying to enjoy it all and make sure this time around I have endless support through my process. I need help with a birth plan. I know I want to try unmedicated, I want to set the mood in my delivery room with blue lights, aroma therapy and white noise or nature sounds. I plan to deliver using the squat bar method and I do want to use a mirror to see it all. I just want to be present, safe, healthy and feel in control.

My budget is $1,000. My birth plan is to labor at home as long as I can. The hospital is 30 minutes from my home.
Finding a midwife and doula covered by tricare. I would prefer home or a birth center.
Hi! My name is Alize Smith. 😊 I'm currently pregnant with my first baby, and my due date is in October. My husband is active duty Air Force, so we have TRICARE. I came across your profile and wanted to reach out because I'm currently looking for a birth doula. I wanted to see if you participate in the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. From my understanding, TRICARE covers up to 6 hours of antepartum and/or postpartum doula visits (which can be divided into 15-minute increments however we'd like), along with one continuous labor support visit during the birth. I also understand that, to be eligible for TRICARE coverage, doulas must be certified through one of TRICARE's approved certifying organizations (such as DONA International) and have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing. Are you certified through a TRICARE-approved organization and do you have an active NPI? If so, I'd love to learn more about your services, your availability around my October due date, what your birth support includes, and how the TRICARE billing process works. Since this is our first baby, I'm hoping to find a calm, supportive doula who has experience working with first-time moms and who works well alongside my husband, as he'll be my primary support person during labor. I'd also love to schedule a consultation to see if we'd be a good fit. Thank you so much! I look forward to hearing from you. 🤍
Prefer a secular doula. Low medical intervention birth. Hospital birth.
