I am in need of a doula to guide myself and my husband, Shaheen, through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period (including breastfeeding). We are hoping you can provide us with specific, actionable ways for Shaheen to support me during pregnancy, especially during labor, and during the postpartum period. I hope to labor at home as long as possible, avoid the epidural if possible, and I really would like to avoid a C-section. I am eager to learn about natural birthing techniques and positions that work with my body and gravity. I'm working with the Midwife Clinic at Marin Health and plan to give birth at Marin Health. I'm interested in what is covered with my insurance! 37 years old, planning to give birth at a hospital

I am looking for a birth doula to help prepare me for first-time labor and to accompany me and my wife in the Kaiser hospital delivery room. I think I want to do a walking epidural so that I can move around in the hospital bed and not have to deliver while laying on my back.
