Looking for a lactation consultant in San Francisco. Giving birth at ucsf mission bay. I’m 40 and this is my first baby/pregnancy. I want to try to breastfeed as long as possible and also build up a milk bank so once I have to go back to work I have milk I can use to extend the time my baby is getting breast milk. I have insurance but also can private pay. My insurance is CA: Blue Cross PPO Prudent Buyer (Large Group)

I am planning to give birth in a hospital. My goal is to have a natural birth with an epidural. At the same time, I am open to any medical recommendations necessary to ensure the health and safety of both myself and the baby. I would also love to build an ongoing relationship with a doula who can continue to support me during the postpartum period, including education around lactation and breastfeeding.
