After struggling with latch and milk supply, we met with Delaney. She was able to help with our latch issues and get us moving in the right direction. I was an exhausted, defeated new mom who was ready to give up on my breastfeeding journey. I left from my first appointment feeling so refreshed. In all of my postpartum experience, she was truly the only person that listened to me, made me feel human, and didn’t rush me out the door. So thankful for all of her help!

I don’t think I would be breastfeeding right now if it wasn’t for the amazing support I was provided in the first weeks of my journey. The only thing I would do differently next time is meet with her before I gave birth. I will be coming back with my second baby.

Delaney has been helpful in so many aspects of the new mom life. So many helpful tips towards things even outside of feeding. Anytime I have had a question or concern about how/what to do about something regarding my little one, Delaney has ALWAYS had an answer. She provides in depth explanations and possible solutions to my concerns, and has always made me feel 1000% better about any given situation. No matter what she’s always willing to help ❤️

Delaney spent an amazing few hours with me going over all things breastfeeding, debriefing on my previous breastfeeding experience, and giving me great tips to be successful this time around. She is real, raw, and open about all things motherhood which is extremely important these days! If you are currently pregnant or already had a baby and need breastfeeding support, Delaney is your girl!

Delaney was so helpful and instilled so much confidence in my breast feeding journey as a first time mom! I couldn’t recommend her enough. Even if you feel like you have a pretty good grip on feeding your baby- her tips and tricks are invaluable in making all the little things fall into place- you won’t regret making the appointment!

Delaney was so incredibly helpful when I first started my breastfeeding journey! Being a new mom, I knew breastfeeding was what I wanted to do but I didn’t feel fully educated even with all of the online courses I had attended. When my baby was first born, he had lost what I thought was a lot of weight and I instantly shifted to exclusively pumping which was not my plan. After talking with Delaney, she educated me on everything I needed to know to help me get back to breastfeeding which was something I wanted so badly. Delaney is amazing at truly listening and educating to ensure you are fully equipped to get you where you want and need to be! Her bubbly personality and clear passion for helping women is what makes her the perfect lactation consultant! I am now 11 months post partum, exclusively breastfeeding unless at work where I pump. He is in the 75th percentile in weight and I have learned to LOVE my breastfeeding journey!

Are you struggling with breastfeeding? Pumping? Understanding your baby & their cues? Delaney is your answered prayer! I was a nicu nurse for 8 years..taught moms allllll day long how to breastfeed but when it came time to do it myself with my own son, boy was I in for a ride. He was also pre term which didn’t help us. I was at my breaking point and ready to give up. I called Delaney and she was there in a heartbeat. Not only does she want to see you thrive but she’s all about what works for YOU and your baby, I loved that she isn’t a “one size fits all” because every baby is different. My son is now nursing successfully, most of the time without the nipple shield too which I never thought we’d see the day that the nipple shield was gone and he’s gaining weight appropriately which was a huge issue in the beginning with him being so small & a little early. I cannot thank Delaney enough. I can truly say if it wasn’t for her & her guidance & patience, I would probably be pumping and feeding bottles which is totally okay if that’s what works for you but I was determined to have a successful direct breastfeeding journey and Delaney has made that possible. (:

A month ago, I was desperately trialing formulas because I thought my baby couldn’t nurse and I needed to stop pumping for my own sanity. I truly believed breastfeeding just wasn’t going to work for us. Fast forward to now: my baby is nursing more than ever, and he’s getting zero formula, only breastmilk. I honestly never thought we’d get here. While I do still pump here and there, I have finally gotten my life back! What made the difference was having a lactation consultant who didn’t just focus on mechanics, but on helping me and my baby trust each other again. So many of our “issues” were just rooted in fear and lack of knowledge. If you’re feeling stuck, discouraged, or like your breastfeeding journey has been one step forward and two steps back, Delaney is the kind of support you want. Not rigid rules. Not “one size fits all.” Just compassionate guidance that meets you where you are. I can’t recommend her enough.

A couple weeks ago, I increased how much we were feeding my son when he’s at the sitters and my milk supply went from a slight oversupply to under supplying. I was comfortable increasing his ounces because I was producing that much and then all of a sudden I wasn’t. I was pulling from my freezer stash, which immediately sent me into panic mode. I had a really traumatic nursing and pumping experience with my first, so this brought up all of that anxiety again. I was doing everything right, eating enough protein, drinking enough water, pumping every 2–3 hours when my baby wasn’t with me and all of a sudden it wasn’t enough. So I called Morning Milk Lactation literally in a panic. When we met virtually, because mom life is busy, I was met with a friend, she was calm, nurturing and empathetic. And instead of making me feel like I was failing, she immediately calmed me down. She actually listened. She congratulated me on how far I’ve made it—which no one had done yet—and she understood how hard it is to be attached to a pump when your baby isn’t with you. She came up with a clear game plan, and honestly she only recommended two simple products. Nothing overwhelming. Nothing crazy. Within two weeks of meeting with her, my supply increased by an average of 4 ounces a day, a little bit of overproducing! And she also helped us realize we didn’t need to be feeding my son as much, because breastmilk isn’t like formula. That alone took so much pressure off. I am so thankful to Delaney. This hard, lonely journey doesn’t have to be hard and lonely. She saved me from spiraling, my sanity and giving up. If you’re breastfeeding, pumping, combo feeding, whatever, and you feel like you’re spiraling or second-guessing everything… please know you don’t have to do this alone. I don’t know where I’d be without her. I appreciate that she listened, understood, and took my previous experience into account when we met.

Before having my 4th baby, Delaney had given me a few tips & tricks as I prepared to get ready for my daughter’s arrival. I had always had trouble with all my previous babies in getting them to latch successfully and it always took a mental toll on me. Delaney’s advice not only helped but it made for such a magical (and the best) postpartum experience. I’m so grateful for her wisdom and highly recommend her to any woman about to have a baby (even if it’s your 4th)!
