I cannot say enough about my doula, Molly. She supported me before and after we learned of our son Waylon’s passing with incredible compassion, patience, and strength. From the very beginning, she was there every single moment I needed her, making sure I never felt alone. Molly helped create the birth space I envisioned, holding it with such care and intention. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and aligned beautifully with my wishes, even in the most heartbreaking of circumstances. Her presence brought comfort, safety, and love in a time that could have felt unbearably heavy. I will always be grateful to Molly for walking alongside me in such a sacred and difficult moment of my life. She is truly a gift to any family she supports.

First, I am a Christian; a follower of Jesus, and I believe in the miracle of life and the privilege of pregnancy, birth and motherhood as a natural and normal process. I am a certified birth doula through DONA International. My experience has been on the labor & delivery floor at Denver Health as a volunteer and staff doula, and I have supported 6 private births in the past year. I am looking to gain more experience as a private doula, specifically in the birth center and home birth settings, that is why I do not list hospital births as an option. In my private business I'm interested in working with women and their families that want to put in the work required to have an empowering and positive natural childbirth experience when there is no option for an epidural. By that I mean those who have taken classes such as Lamaze, Birthing from Within, Hypnobirthing and Hypnobabies or watched videos on natural childbirth from sources like Bridget Teyler or Mama Natural on YouTube. In addition , those that are committed to the regular exercises, routines and preparations that I believe are necessary for a birthing experience that won't leave you feeling traumatized. That's not to say a woman cannot decide on a natural experience, do no prep work and still have a positive birth without an epidural, because I've seen it happen, but it's rare. If you want to put in the work for a pregnancy and birth that will change how you understand yourself, your health inside and out, and give you a life long dose of empowering confidence that only the miracle of life can provide than please consider me as your doula to support that journey. I am happy to support families with multiple prenatal visits, birth, and a postpartum visit at the time of your choosing. Thank you for your consideration and congratulations!

Emily was an endless source of encouragement. During pregnancy, she helped us navigate our options and feel truly prepared. In the hospital, she was our voice when we felt overwhelmed and made sure our birth plan was respected. The little things, like when we needed intermittent monitoring in the labor room because I wanted to move around or the positions she helped me labor in. She was our voice when we needed it. I had a C-section at the end and it was like having a friend around to hear her encouraging words. She supported my partner too, showing him how he could be there for me. The pictures she took were a icing on the top and made beautiful memories for us. She was the key to having the positive, empowering birth experience we wanted.

Kendall was an absolute god-send during our pregnancy and birth journey. As first time parents, we felt SO lost starting our pregnancy journey. The lack of dedicated support in the system was so apparent right away, and we began our search to find the compassion , emotional support and care we needed , esp for me as a first time mom! Our first discussion with Kendall made us feel so comfortable and like there was such a personal connection , Kendall was so knowledgeable and so committed to ensuring that I would have the support I needed thru every step of my pregnancy and post-partum. She was someone that I immediately knew I could trust and be comfortable around and want her there with me every step of the way, including during my delivery. Kendall provided support and assistance throughout my pregnancy beyond what I could have ever imagined. As someone who had an extremely difficult pregnancy with several hospitalizations, Kendall was there for our family every step of the way, helping us find new care when things with our existing provider weren’t going well, being by our side with several hospital stays and going out on a limb to be a vocal advocate for what was always best for me and our baby. Kendall went above and beyond after so many unexpected turns in our birth story, spent dedicated time visiting our baby in the NiCU at a moments notice when we delivered prematurely in an emergency situation, and was constantly there as a sounding board, resource , and 24-7 support system for our entire family. We have never felt so comfortable being open and honest with someone as we were with Kendall!! She is so passionate about her work, her families and the moms in her care, and it shows!! Whether we had a perfect pregnancy or one filled with the challenges and scares our family faced, We can’t imagine doing it or going through the journey without Kendall. You never know what resources you may need until you need them, and Kendall was there with us every step of the way. She will forever be a part of our family and our story, and we will be forever grateful for her. -The Schafferer’s: Lindsey , Marco and Marcel (our 35 week angel babe!)

I have spent the last fifteen years as an educator and education researcher. During my pregnancy, labor, and delivery, a fire inside of me was ignited, inspiring me to shift my focus toward supporting others through the transformative journey of birth. The strength, resilience, and empowerment I experienced during that time fueled my desire to help others navigate their own childbirth experiences with knowledge, compassion, and unwavering support. In 2025, I completed my Birth Doula and Prenatal Yoga Teacher training with BEHELD in Boulder, Colorado where I learned from Haley McNabb and Jessica Fawcett, two wise and magical birth doulas. I am excited to join a long tradition of women supporting women during one of their most profound life experiences.

Making the investment to have supported Postpartum care, especially from an Ayurvedic perspective was not just exactly what I had wished for, but I cannot FATHOM a greater gift for the health of our newborn child. I felt like a peaceful, supported, and loved Momma through the whole process which truly allowed me to be the most present with our newborn. Emily is an actual angel on earth. I only wish that every single birthing person had this type of postpartum support. Our little one is now 5 months old and I believe WHOLE-HEARTEDLY that his gentle, calm, and happy disposition is a result of the care and safety that I felt postpartum which allowed me to be fully present with him. Emily worked diligently and silently doing all of the big and little things that afforded us as a new family the maximum amount of time together to just marinate in our little love bubble. I didn't have to think (EVER) about what I was going to eat, or if I had hydrated enough, about eating the right things etc. Not only was my belly nourished, but she helped with postpartum massage, belly wrapping, provided a listening ear, and left me with so many helpful herbs, tinctures, and magical Ayurvedic potions. I am forever grateful for my time spent with Emily who I am sure will now be a lifelong friend. Thank you Emily! Infinitely! Your gift is something undeniable. We are FOREVER grateful. I’m a DONA-certified birth doula with over 30 years of experience in family advocacy and early childhood development. God led me to this work through the transformative births of my own four children, each one shaping my heart and deepening my passion for supporting others through this sacred journey. In 2020, I followed that calling and founded Mountains of Love Doulas to provide families with evidence-based guidance, emotional encouragement, and hands-on support. Now rooted in Berthoud, Colorado with my husband and our four kids, we soak up every moment we can outdoors—when I’m not holding space for another beautiful birth.

I can't thank Mary enough for all her help during my pregnancy and birth. She recommended stretches to help with debilitating hip discomfort during my third trimester (which totally fixed my issue in a week)! She also helped assist me in the unmedicated waterbirth I had prayed for. She was such a great advocate for me, and her encouragement and knowledge made all the difference. I couldn't have done it without her. Thanks, Mary! God Bless You! -Rachel W.

I’m a Loveland, Colorado-based mother of two wonderful boys, ages 4 and 1. My journey into motherhood began with a medically managed hospital birth, where support during labor and postpartum was limited. Navigating postpartum anxiety, depression, and nursing challenges as a single mother was a deeply formative experience. My second birth—a natural water birth at a birth center attended by midwives and a doula—was profoundly different. It was through that empowering and supported experience that I came to understand the incredible strength of the birthing body, and the vital role that informed, compassionate care plays in a woman’s journey. As I moved through this transformative chapter, I found myself drawn to learning more about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. I became passionate about the power of nurturing, evidence-based support during this sacred transition. That path ultimately led me to doula work, where I feel deeply called to walk alongside women as they move through one of the most powerful experiences of their lives.

I am also a traveling CO notary public, folk harper, and mother of my one-and-only rainbow baby (who was born via medically necessary C-section). Jannelle was such a blessing during my pregnancy, the birth of our beautiful son, and even postpartum! My partner and I learned so much and became so empowered through Jannelle in the weeks leading up to meeting our baby boy. And even though things didn't go exactly how I'd imagined them through my birth plan, she was there for us every step of the way and I know we both had so much more courage and strength with her by our side in the delivery room. The postpartum visits were so welcome and needed, especially as a first time mom. She helped ease by fears and anxiety, and made getting through the first month so much easier on all of us as a family. I truly think the world of Jannelle and am so grateful to have her a part of our journey.

Hey there, I’m Carly, the heart and hands behind Sol Shine Doula Services. My path to birth work started with my own first birth experience—long, unsupported, and ending in a home birth transfer. I didn’t even know doulas existed then, but I know now how transformative the right support can be. Named after my first child’s middle name, Sol Shine was born from a deep desire to provide families with the warmth, knowledge, and care I once wished for. Now, I dedicate my work to ensuring no birthing person feels alone in their journey.

We found Carly very last minute, and I was honestly on the fence about whether or not I wanted to hire a doula. But after meeting with her, we instantly felt comfortable and knew she was the right fit. She’s kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thoughtful in her approach. Carly took the time to ask important questions and was sensitive to both past trauma and my neurodivergence, which made me feel seen and supported right from the start. Having her available throughout the tail end of my pregnancy to answer questions was invaluable. I wish we would have found her sooner so I could have benefited from her support and guidance for more of my pregnancy. When it came time for the birth of our first child, I can’t imagine having done it without her. She helped create the calm, peaceful environment I had hoped for and supported both my husband and me as we navigated the hospital experience. During labor, she was there for my husband as much as she was for me—gently guiding him on how best to support me and offering him reassurance, too. Carly made the entire experience feel grounded, warm, and empowering. We’re so grateful we had her by our side.

Hi, I’m Andrea — Birth Doula, Pregnancy & Postpartum Wellness Coach, Nutritionist, and Mama of Three.** Bringing a baby into the world is powerful, transformative, and sometimes overwhelming — and no mama should have to navigate it alone. As a pregnancy and postpartum doula and wellness coach, I support expecting and new mothers who want to feel calm, confident, and truly prepared for the journey ahead. My background in pregnancy and postpartum wellness and nutrition allows me to guide mamas in a holistic way — nurturing the mind, body, and soul through every stage. I’m also a mom of three, so I deeply understand the emotions, fears, and hopes wrapped into birth and early motherhood. I believe every mother deserves a doula. Every mother deserves to feel informed, supported, and encouraged. And every baby deserves the greatest gift of all: a calm, confident, grounded mama who feels held, not overwhelmed. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating postpartum, or simply craving reassurance and guidance along the way, I’m here to walk beside you with compassion, confidence, and evidence-based support. You don’t have to “just get through” pregnancy or postpartum. You deserve to feel empowered in it.

Hi, I’m Katie—an IBCLC dedicated to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care. I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I come to lactation work with a foundation in Nutrition, holding a bachelor’s degree from UNC.  I have three kiddos of my own—each with their own unique breastfeeding journey. These experiences deepen my understanding that every family’s path is different, and every goal is valid. I truly love being welcomed into people’s homes and consider the postpartum period a sacred space. My approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and meeting families exactly where they are—whether they’re navigating challenges, exploring their feeding options, or simply seeking reassurance. When I’m not working with families, you can find me snowboarding, traveling, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my little crew, hopefully outside, having an adventure!

Being a doula became a huge passion of mine while I was pregnant with my first child. I find pregnancy, labor and birth the most empowering events in a new parent's life. Helping you achieve the birth experience you want is my priority. I will support you in any decisions you deem fit for your family. When I'm not raving about birth and birthing people, I am a huge nerd. I love being a couch potato with my husband or playing video games. I am also a mother of my beautiful daughter who was born in November 2021. My family is an extremely important part of my life. Being a doula is the most rewarding path I could have ever chosen to walk on. The birth experience is so important and I'd be honored to be there with you!
