Birth Doula packages and pricing

Comprehensive Birth Package

When choosing me for part of your pregnancy support team, you’re not just hiring a birth doula. My in-person pregnancy & labor support services in and around Loveland, CO include mindset and childbirth education coaching throughout your entire pregnancy from hire date, intensive prenatal planning sessions, unlimited text communication from hire date through the first 8 weeks postpartum, on-call labor support starting at 38 weeks, prenatal and postpartum massage options, and direct referrals for other trusted local birthworkers and postpartum resources. HSA & FSA funds accepted. At this time the only insurance I accept is Colorado Medicaid. This comprehensive package includes: Four 90 minute prenatal planning visits One 60 minute prenatal or postpartum massage visit with Wildflower Massage in Fort Collins One 50 minute postpartum stretch session at FlexLogic in Loveland One postpartum debrief appointment to discuss your birth experience, postpartum planning or referrals, etc I do limit these packages to 3 clients per month to preserve the integrity of the energy and space I can hold for you and your journey. Simplified Birth-Only Support

This is for the parents who already know what they want in their birth space and would just like some extra support in the room when the time comes. whether you need to be reminded of your power, want your partner to have in-person reminders and instruction for hands-on support, or don’t want to feel alone or over-medicalized at your birth then this is the option for you. HSA & FSA funds accepted. Payment plans are available. At this time the only insurances I accept are Colorado Medicaid, CHP+ and TRI WEST. This simplified package includes: one 90 minute deep-dive prenatal planning visit One 60 minute postpartum labor debrief session to discuss your experience after birth full labor support One postpartum debrief appointment to discuss your birth experience, postpartum planning or referrals, etc I do limit myself to 4 clients per month to preserve the integrity of the energy and space I can hold for you and your journey

I partner with a local postpartum doula for a team approach to your care. Pricing varies based on needs, but typically starts at $2,000 to hire both of us for your birth and postpartum care. Reach out for more details!

What to expect

When choosing me for part of your support team, you’re not just hiring a birth doula. My in-person doula pregnancy & labor support services include education throughout your entire pregnancy from hire date, intensive prenatal planning sessions, unlimited text communication from hire date through the first 8 weeks postpartum, on-call labor support starting at 38 weeks, and direct referrals for other local birthworker and postpartum resources. This comprehensive package doesn’t limit your prenatal visits to maximum times or amount of sessions - I’m committing my energy to you for anywhere from 9-11 months depending on when you choose to bring me on board in your journey. I do limit these packages to 3 clients per month. I accept Colorado Medicaid, HSA & FSA funds, and am happy to discuss with you how I can accept Carrot benefits.

I just wanted to take a big thank you and recommend my birthing doula to anyone who needs that extra support during their pregnancy! Hannah Hosey is so sweet and really cares about you and your birthing experience. She consistently checked on me the couple of months I had her. She was there to answer any question I had and literally would respond the second I needed advice about my pregnancy. And I went into a VERY fast labor where I checked into the hospital and had my baby girl within a 40 minutes of being there and she arrived there literally in like 20 minutes. She made a very intense situation for me a lot calmer. Her energy is just so caring and great! I’m happy I have met her! 🫶♥️

Hannah is a Godsend!!! Before delivery she was there to answer questions and help provide facts to make the best educated decision on what was best for my pregnancy. I was sent to the hospital early due to preeclampsia. When I called Hannah she was there in 20 min. Full support and ready to go. The day after I was put in the hospital she helped me advocate for myself with a doctor who would have drastically changed my labor experience. Because of that, I was able to have the most beautiful experience despite a laundry list of health issues. She helped me understand I was stronger than I thought and able to handle anything! She also continues to be there for me during postpartum. She has become more than a doula for me she has become a friend that I hope to keep for a lifetime! If I could give her 10 stars I would.

Hannah is nothing short of amazing! My birth experience would not have been the same without her. She’s was an amazing coach through the entire process. She encouraged my husband with different ways to support in various positions and affirming words. It was so nice to have someone there who could do the little things so my husband could be with me 100% of the time! She would refill my water, get me snacks, make suggestions of good times for us to both eat and sleep and she helped me change clothes if needed as well. I felt very well informed and educated through as it was our first birth and we took classes together but having her expertise through the experience was worth its weight in gold. I had postpartum preeclampsia as well and she guided and supported me through that process as she has so much experience in that realm. I felt so seen and taken care of in a situation where it was easy to feel discombobulated. She encouraged me and reminded me to breathe and affirmed me through every contraction. She respected and upheld all our requests and worked remarkably with us as a couple. Her professional and encouraging attitude kept me focused and energized through my labor and delivery and I will not hesitate to use her services again in the future! 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a solid addition to your birthing experience.

Frequently asked questions

Do you accept insurance?

I accept Colorado Medicaid, CHP+, Tricare West, HSA & FSA funds, and would be happy to discuss with you the possibility of accepting Carrot benefits.

Do you assist in hospital births?

I do! Hospital births are actually where all of my experience lies and where I feel most confident supporting new families to ensure their voices are heard and their decisions are empowered. I’ve covered anything from spontaneous labor to inductions to c-sections in the hospital setting.

Do you have experience with high risk complications?

More than half of the clients I have supported have had severe preeclampsia, heart conditions, or other risk factors affecting their pregnancies. I am more than willing to assist high risk pregnancies and support you however I can.

Do you assist with inductions or c-sections?

I sure do! While I am happy to work with you through your spontaneous labor (medicated or unmedicated), I believe doula support is extra important when it comes to intervention-heavy (medically necessary or otherwise!) births. I will always do my best to ensure that your voice is heard and your power is recognized in your birth space.

What is your approach to birth?

I believe that birth is just as much mental as it is physical, and in the importance of science as well as the soul. I approach every birth with evidence-based information and working with your intuition. And I will always remind you that even though you can’t be “in control” of birth, you can definitely remain in charge of your decisions.
