About me

As a DONA trained and certified Doula I believe it is imperative to develop a trusting, and deep connection with each birthing mother I work with, so, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about me. I am a mother to a wonderful son and daughter who was a preemie who are my entire world. I am also a 2-time cancer survivor. I have an infinitely strong passion for helping people and always have been pulled toward that line of work. Birth work is the most soul-fulfilling, genuine work I have done in my life and I feel right at home in the hospital, a birthing center, or in your home (where ever you are having that baby!). Before doing birth work, I was working a desk job, battling cancer for a second time, really realizing that I was not happy in my life and that it was time to pursue what I loved. I took the risk, I left the secure job, and I have never looked back! For all expecting mommies, whether that be first-time moms, or a mom having her 4th or 5th child, my mission is to help you have the birth experience you want to have and support you in any way you need me to support you. I promise as your soul, if you are to choose me, that I will only be on your side, by your side, and I will be whatever support you need, whatever that means for you. I believe that we have the right to write our own birth story. I hope I get to meet you soon!
