My name is Rowan Hawkins (she/they), and I bring nearly three decades of living, working, and learning into my work as a threshold doula, specializing with families with miscarriages and stillborn births. I am also a traveling CO notary public, traveling folk harp player, certified child passenger safety technician (CPST-PVS), and mother of my one-and-only rainbow baby (who was born via medically necessary C-section). My career path has been eclectic—spanning universities, hospitality, medical offices, and finance—but in every role, I found myself drawn to supporting others, keeping things organized, and creating calm in the middle of complexity. I hold a bachelor’s degree in science with a minor in anthropology, and I’ve always been fascinated by the ways we care for one another. Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Walk With Me (Prenatal, Labor, and Postpartum)

Retainer of $2,940 (84 hours) at $35/hr, any extra at end of services to be refunded. Comprehensive prenatal, birth, and postpartum support with notary fees, 1st Steps Together Bundle, Shop With Me Bundle, and 2 Witching Hour Support sessions. Postpartum support available for up to 4 months from baby’s birth date. Continued support beyond this period requires a separate agreement. Travel fees not included. Talk With Me (Prenatal or Postpartum)

Retainer of $1,120 (32 hours) at $35/hr, any extra at end of services to be refunded. Prenatal or postpartum support with notary fees, and 1st Steps Together Bundle (prenatal only) included. Postpartum support available for up to 3 months from baby’s birth date. Continued support beyond this period requires a separate agreement. Maximum 2 bundles per client. CPST-PVS services included. Birth Only

Retainer of $560 (16 hours) at $35/hr, any extra at end of services to be refunded. A single prenatal visit (2 hours), birth support (average 12 hours, maximum 38 hours), and one postpartum visit (2 hours). Intended for clients who want birth support without full prenatal or postpartum package services. Does not include notary fees or travel fees. CPST-PVS services included.

What Are Your Stances as a Doula?

Excellent question! As a doula, I am LGBTQIA+, Trauma & NICU Aware, Sex Positive, and an Advocate for everyone. I also encourage open-book business practices and believe at the core of my practice that no one should give birth or die alone.

What Energy Do You Have?

I am a calm and quiet person and extend that to my energy in any room. I've been told a number of times I have a very soothing voice and warm personality.

I'm Scheduled for a C-Section and My Partner(s) Can't be With Me. Can You?

Absolutely! If you don't feel supported and are afraid of being alone in the operating room, my hand will always be within reach.

Do You Have Any Limitations for Postpartum Clients?

Yes; No Smoking Household (marijuana and vapes included), No Birds (even caged), No Rodents (rabbits, rats, mice, etc.), No Drinking Alcohol During My Visit, and No Substance Abuse Household. Also, I do not provide housecleaning, nanny, or pet-care services (including walking or waste cleaning). These criteria also apply for Home Birth clients.

Are You Available on Holidays?

Yes! I don't celebrate the major holidays, so if you need support my calendar will likely be open at no additional fee.

Do You Have Any Discounts?

Yes! I offer Stormborn discounts depending on the service. I also offer a Mercy Program for those needing support during financial hardship. Please see my website for more details!

What is A CPST?

A Child Passenger Safety Technician! This means that I am certified to walk you through how to install your car seat and educate on the safest travel for your little one. I have additional training in Prenatal Vehicle Safety (PVS) which enables me to coach on safe seat belt and car positioning practices.
