Chilliwack maternity hospital. Normal delivery with epidural Not decided yet
I’m planning to give birth at the hospital I’m not sure what our budget is. And I don’t know what my birth plan should be.
Hello! I recently had a quite traumatic C-section and recovery experience. I found I am pregnant 3 months after giving birth, my doctor informed me with the right support I will be able to have a successful V-bac. This would make my pregnancies almost 12 months apart. I am so determined to have a successful V-bac and would love help, experience, and guidance throughout this journey to make it the most successful. My C-section was not warranted, I was not told my baby was sunny side up until I was pushing, then I was pushed into a csection . Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t of had one.
1. Abbotsford Regional 2. No idea. Don’t know what doula’s cost. 3. Planning for a VBAC with epidural if needed but open to C section if that ends up being best.

Subject: Inquiry About Birth Doula Support for April 2026 Due Date I am currently looking for a birth doula for my first pregnancy. This is my first baby, and my due date is April 22, 2026. I feel scared and nervous when I think about labour and birth. I am planning to have a vaginal birth and have some concerns about tearing. I am also hoping for a calm and peaceful birthing environment, as I tend to feel anxious in busy settings, such as rooms with frequent interruptions or medical students present. I am looking for a doula who can advocate for me and my baby and help me feel supported and informed throughout the process. I also wanted to ask whether your doulas are certified through a recognized organization, or if you are registered as a paramedical practitioner in British Columbia (such as a Naturopathic Doctor or Social Worker). I have extended health benefits through Pacific Blue Cross and would be using those benefits. Ideally, I am looking for someone who can submit claims under their registration or provide an official receipt that includes their registration number for reimbursement purposes. Please feel free to reach out to me if you feel we may be a good fit or if you have any questions for me. You can contact me by phone at 778-245-2618 or by email at tahirajat05@gmail.com. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Warm regards, Tahira
My wife and I have planned out an unassisted Homebirth that we'll be carrying out at home, but we'd like to explore the option to have a Doula present for the birth, to provide moral and educational support. We live in Langley B.C. and are hoping to book someone for towards the end of May
I live in Hope, Chilliwack Hospital, N/A, hoping for natural birth
We have an OB for our firstborn. We will be delivering in the Burnaby hospital. The budget is around 1k but is flexible depending on the match. We plan to give birth naturally and with the earliest chance injection of epidural as possible.

1. Hospital - New West Royal Columbian 2. Standard pricing 3. Unmedicated if easy / epidural if not easy. Prefer as least as possible medical interventions and checks before and during labor by the hospital doctors. As natural as possible. If not possible, of course open to it just not as the first option. I am looking for help with birth positions, back massage, provide tens machine, peanut ball, and guidance to me and my husband. Guiding us through the process to enjoy it as much as possible. It is our first baby. Preferably medically educated, experienced and non-religious doula. Someone kind, warm, and caring would be great.
-BC Women's Hospital -1800$ -A good few years of experience in the sector. - I am 37 years old with a 10 year old special needs son. We are from South of India. - I am looking for someone who is kind, caring and can be a constant support to navigate those crucial periods at the hospital. Since we do not have family around, she should fill that gap by providing help and emotional support. Postpartum: light work around the house and prep healthy meals for mom will be ideal. Prior knowledge in postpartum massage is an asset but not necessary. -
Giving birth in Surrey Memorial Hospital and have an OBGYN. I want no interventions during childbirth unless really necessary, unmediated birth with no tearing.
