I am looking for someone who can support me mentally and physically who also has our back with making sure the staff are following our plan as well as keeping us safe. My husband is an amazing support but this is our first time! We plan on giving birth at Methodist downtown. I want a natural birth with cord clamping (but can keep an epidural in mind as well). We are willing to pay between $800-$1000.

1) hospital 2) unsure, open to a wide range 500-1700 3) I do not want a c-section and I’m afraid I’ll be pushed into that corner due to my weight. I want to give birth vaginally, preferably without the help of medication but I am open to medication if I find it to be needed. I want delayed cord clamping and an hour skin to skin after birth. I want no one but doctors/nurses/doula, my partner Matt, and myself in the room. No other family.

Hello, so this is my second pregnancy. I had my first pregnancy vaginal delivery. I am still in between with Home or Hospital, but I’m thinking Hospital. I would like to stick in the budget between 500 to 1000. My birth plan is to make it go as smoothly as possible and not be tricked into things like I was with my first pregnancy. I do not want to be induced. I do not want any form of intervention like Pitocin. I do not want the epidural. I am OK with IV meds. I would like to sit or stand in the shower or do the whirlpool for as long as possible, as I seen the most comfortable in there when I gave birth the first time. I want no inside monitoring. I want to be able to get up and move if I want. I want Delayed Cord clamping until the Cord is white. I am OK with the vitamin K shot no hep B. No flu shot. I would prefer to birth on my hands and knees if possible. I want as a little people in the room as possible. I want to know that I’ll be heard if I want the OB to come in. I had an episiotomy with my first one and it healed wrong due to the doctor stitching it up wrong I would prefer not to have an episiotomy. I would like to tear if I’m going to I had to have a surgery to fix it the first time. I want to do skin to skin right away. I want to hold off on weighing the baby and all of that stuff. I want to be able to see my placenta this time last time. The doctor was elbow deep and ripping it out and I didn’t get to see it Even though I asked them multiple times. They could never give me a straight answer as to why until after and I talk to my significant other and my mother and they told me what had happened. I want to be on FaceTime with my child unless I get too agitated or I’m screaming. I want music playing. I want to be massaged throughout the process shoulders feet head back. The baby stays in my room at all times I think for the most part that is covering a lot of it I’m sure that I would have more if I were asked more questions.

Location: Alden, IA 50006, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: August 29, 2025
1.) Ideally I’d like to find a good birth center, if not then I’d be just as happy to do it at home too. Definitely not hospital. 2.) Not sure on budget this is our first, so we’re not familiar with the prices that can be confirmed after getting some ideas. 3.) I want a midwife that understands my needs and boundaries and is knowledgeable in helping me to have the most natural/herb centered pregnancy and birth I can. I’m looking for someone that supports and teaches me and my beliefs. Women that understand the need for space and instinct during birth process and don’t pressure me or smother me (my sister has had that experience). Just a friend to lean on and learn from as I have no one near me who has the same birth beliefs as I, it would be so special! I’d like to prevent any hospital visits altogether so someone that is equipped to do check-ups from their home or mine.

Location: Council Bluffs, IA 51503, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: April 22, 2025
I am trying for a vbac at a hospital with a midwife. I also have gestational diabetes so they recommend inducing after 39 weeks. I would like to spend less than $1000. My birth plan is to deliver in a way that is safe and that I can recover most easily from. I’m indifferent about the epidural this time. Pain does not bother me but when I’m suffering so much I can’t sit down then I’ll get the epidural.

I plan to give birth in the hospital as my last pregnancy my daughter had in utero birth restriction. I’m not sure on the buffet since I’m not familiar with the prices on this type of thing I’m considering. I want to birth naturally have an epidural if needed. Emotional support a care with positive choices is what I’m looking for. I have high anxiety so just want that to be considered a knowledge of.
