I plan on giving birth in the hospital, I want to avoid C-section if possible. Looking for help in creating a birth plan and someone to advocate with my partner and I during delivery. Interested in delayed cord cutting immediate skin to skin contact. Currently looking for someone who excepts meridian Medicaid insurance

May consider other services as well 3) VBAC, avoid c-section (very traumatic), open to all pain relief options but want epidural to be the last resort, open to medical interventions if other suggestions (walking, taking a shower, peanut ball, or different laboring positions) don't work

Central DuPage Hospital Unsure I want to do an unmediated birth, but am also focused on having a happy and healthy baby by whatever means are safest for baby and myself.

I always wanted a home birth and giving that I’m now pregnant and also Active duty Air Force, I hear my chances of that are low to not happening. However, I’m allowed to have a midwife and doula and I want one to help me through this! I honestly don’t know how to budget this because I know the military pays for everything but I’m hearing there limitations to how much they cover for a midwife and doula, so if I had to put a number on it I would say $3000. I plan to have a healthy and peaceful birth in a pool in the middle of my living room with my husband by my side and medical team( midwife, doula, etc). I’m not looking anything over the top just a safe and healthy delivery.

I would like to have a home birth. Would pay whatever. Would like a midwife to come and help me give birth at home.

I am currently planning to give birth at cdh. I’m not sure what an appropriate budget for a doula is so I guess I’m interested in rates. I’d hope to not go over a thousand dollars but like I said I don’t know what is appropriate. I’d like to give birth with the least amount of interventions possible. I will be doing a vbac labor, my first baby will be 2 and 2 months at the date of the delivery and was a cesarían because she was breech presenting.

I plan on an unmedicated vbac birth in Salina’s hospital, I will need to be able to use my insurance as payment, I would like it to be intermittent monitoring, no pain meds or any meds to push labor along id like to do it as naturally as possible, I want to wait till the cords completely white to clamp and cut, I would like to have my golden hour with my baby, I do not want baby cleaned off or bathed after birth. I just want a peaceful, bonding, birth.

I would like a doula who can help educate me on all my options around birth and how to best prepare for that. I'd also like them to be present when I'm giving birth, and potentially post partum care. I'm giving birth at Central Dupage Hospital. I learned today that my insurance plan covers doulas that are in-network, so ideally they would be in-network with BCBSIL. I don't know my birth plan, I would like help figuring that out.

We are extremely new to the whole process, and thus unsure what to expect. We do not have a birth plan, but would like to construct one. We plan for the delivery to take place at Silver Cross Hospital (1900 Silver Cross Blvd, New Lenox, IL 60451). I pick up on people’s energy very easily, so I would like to find someone calm and reassuring. I am especially interested in pain relief strategies!!!

I am planning for a hospital or birthing center. I am wanting someone o help me throughout the pregnancy to understand what is going on, as well as be there for the birth and advocate for me while I am in a vulnerable spot and not fully comfortable with the medical system. I am hoping for a natural birth (non medicated).
