Looking for someone who will not debate my choices. I'm a crunchy christian mom. No one that shows her pronouns or has gender dysmorphia. Prefer someone who is actually awake not "woke". Probably give birth at McMaster hospital if there's no better place, open to home birth. I just know what I don't want but I'm open to what God has planned

Birth Doula that accepts UPMC For You, PA Medicaid, for services at UPMC Magee women's hospital. Second birth, possibly with an epidural, and /or induction.

I plan to give birth at UMC Hospital. I hope i can find a doula that is either covered by pregnancy medicaid or Walmart BCBS. I want to go for an all natural birth as much as possible and get tips about what I can do to prepare for it. I dont have a full birth plan but I want to give birth on all fours and with no pitocin. This is also my first child and I accept that I might want the epidural but i will decide when the day comes and what my pain level is. I also want only my doula and my husband in the room while giving birth. Delayed cord clamping.

Would love to give birth at home if I can. I had a very bad experience in a hospital with my daughter my birth plan was not respected at all and the nurse was a complete jerk. I am very adamant about having an unmedicated birth this time.

First pregnancy, need someone to couch me and be an advocate while giving birth. I have anxiety around birth and I need someone who can help me stay calm. During my last pregnancy I experienced severe preeclampsia and stopped breathing, which was a life-threatening situation. Because of this history, I want additional support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. A doula can help monitor my well-being, provide emotional and physical support, help reduce stress, and assist with recognizing warning signs early. This support can also help reduce my risk of postpartum complications and improve my overall health outcomes.

I will request it if I feel I need it. I plan to use non-medicinal methods (e.g., movement, shower/tub, breathing). Medical Interventions: Please use intermittent fetal monitoring to allow for maximum mobility. Avoid an IV/saline lock unless medically necessary. I prefer to avoid labor-augmentation medications (like Pitocin) and allow my labor to progress on its own, unless there is a medical emergency. Delivery and Postpartum Birth of Baby: I would like to push instinctively (no coached pushing/breath-holding). I want to be in the position of my choice (e.g., standing, hands-and-knees, side-lying). Cord Clamping: I request delayed cord clamping until the umbilical cord has stopped pulsating. Immediate Postpartum: Please place the baby immediately on my chest for uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact. I request that all routine newborn procedures, like weighing and measurements, be delayed until after the first hour of skin-to-skin time. Placenta: I would like to keep my placenta. Please place it in a provided container/cooler immediately after delivery. I prefer to deliver the placenta spontaneously without Pitocin, unless medically necessary for hemorrhage prevention. Note to Staff: In the event of an unplanned C-section, I would still like the screen lowered for viewing, my partner present, and immediate skin-to-skin contact with the baby, or with my partner if I am unable.
