Hello! I am Kelsie, a Catholic wife and mother of six. I am also a Certified Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator. My interest in birth started when I became pregnant with my first child and has only increased during my subsequent pregnancies and births. ​​​ As a Catholic Christian, I believe that how we bring our babies into the world matters! Hi my name is Jerilyn Free but I go by “Jeri”. I am from the Triad are and am definitely a unicorn in this field. I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Certified Birth Doula. I have been working as a Birth Doula since 2016. I have assisted in vaginal births, c-sections, vbacs, water births, virtual doula work, and have supported families that have dealt with a loss. My experience is wide! I decided to get into birth work because after three very different births( c-section, VBAC induction, and VBAC spontaneous labor), I finally got the birth I dreamed of. I am a mother to four children and when my first and fourth babies were newborns, they gave me many breastfeeding challenges. It was with the support of skilled lactation consultants that I was able to develop a plan to be able to continue to breastfeed. I became a lactation consultant because I desire to support moms in the comfort of their own homes as they overcome challenges while feeding their babies. It is a joy and honor to get to do what I do and I love building relationships with the families I serve. Before I was a lactation consultant, I was a birth doula.
