i am a first time parent & i need help learning all of my options. I want someone with alot of experience who also takes my insurance
First baby, 34 1/2 weeks along with an expected due date of November 11th (on-call availability needed starting November 5th). Planning an unmedicated hospital birth at UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, laboring at home as long as possible. No medical complications or high-risk factors. I am looking primarily for a Birth Doula and am covered under TRICARE Select (via the CBSD program). I am also interested in learning more about Postpartum Doula options and potentially Newborn Care Specialist / Night Care services and pricing on a private-pay basis. In your response, please share: Your TRICARE participation/network status (have you signed a participation agreement with Humana Military / CBSD)? Your availability for birth coverage starting around November 5th. A rate breakdown for covered birth support, as well as your private-pay package rates or hourly costs for postpartum/overnight care.
