Hi, I’m Elizabeth Sandoval (she/her), founder of Evergreen Birth Services. Born and raised in NYC, I provide compassionate, evidence-based birth and postpartum doula support with a calm, confident presence. My background in public health, paired with my passion for mindful, personalized care, allows me to guide families through pregnancy, labor, and the tender postpartum months with intention. I believe support should feel both grounding and empowering, whether it’s your first baby or your fifth. With deep respect for your values and vision, I’m here to help you welcome your baby with clarity, confidence, and care.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Elizabeth for my postpartum care, and I can’t recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she was warm, knowledgeable, and truly invested in my recovery and well-being as a mom. Elizabeth was incredibly hands-on and efficient, always one step ahead of what I needed, whether it was helping with breastfeeding, soothing the baby, or making sure I had time to rest and heal. She supported not just me, but our whole family, creating a calm and comforting environment that made a huge difference during those early, overwhelming days. Elizabeth offered both practical support and emotional care in a way that felt natural. Most importantly, Elizabeth was reliable, respectful, and incredibly thoughtful. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and brings both heart and expertise to her work, she’s exactly who you want by your side during birth and even more after!

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Elizabeth work with our family starting when our son was just three months old. She was warm, comforting, and a true support to me as I navigated life as a new mom. Elizabeth was especially supportive as I figured out breastfeeding and pumping—she would help put together my pump parts and assist us as we tried several different types of formula. She helped me think through various decisions and took phenomenal care of our son. She brought creativity and thoughtful research to support his development, and was particularly helpful when we introduced solid foods. She’s also a wonderful cook and prepared healthy meals for our baby. Our son was (and still is!) deeply attached to her—he would light up with a smile every time he saw her. She remained with us as our nanny for two years and has truly become like family. She has been so helpful to us now as we have had our second, and so supportive of me as a mom. We are so appreciative of all she has done to help us!
