I’m Jamelia (also known as Jam) and I’m a Full-Spectrum Doula (FSD), certified through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings (BADT). In addition to my doula certification, I am an herbalist (pursuing her certification in clinical herbalism) and currently enrolled in a course to become a functional nutrition specialist. I chose these disciplines to better support my clients with their needs that may present themselves through every part of their pregnancy and birth journey. I value clear communication and transparency above all else. My goal is to support all my clients across their journey to grow their family, whatever that may look like for them.

I’m originally from Salem, Oregon, and in June 2025, I moved to Yakima, Washington. Since then, I’ve continued my passion for supporting expecting parents and families with newborns. But first, let me tell you about myself when I am not being an amazing Doula. I am a mother to three wonderful children, 2 girls and one boy. And in my spare time, I love to enjoy a good film with my boyfriend, read a couple of books, and do some writing! My journey to becoming a Doula began during my third child, when I got pregnant the last time I felt a profound sense of freedom, to pursue whatever birthing options I wanted to, I spent countless hours nerding out over the birthing process and realized that I wanted to share that feeling of freedom and confidence with as many mothers as I could. My first two labors and pregnancies to say the least were HORRID. Knowledge is the most powerful resource that we have going through the process of birth and parenthood, knowing what sensations to expect, what experiences you might have in a hospital or birthing room, what it feels like to have your first or second child, and what to expect when returning home. I have personal experience with all of this, and the education to back it. I make it my personal goal to be your partner in making your birth story your own, and not just the one that is handed to you in a packet from a doctor’s office. I would love to connect with you over a cup of coffee or a quick phone call and talk more about what a Doula can do to help make birth and postpartum a beautiful experience for you and your family. So what can doula do for me? Specifically this doula? Birth is a natural process, arguably the most natural process that any woman has the privilege to undergo. And our bodies are uniquely equipped with the knowledge and ability to complete this process. As a doula for both Birth and Postpartum families, it is my goal to equip and educate new families in the miraculous and powerful process of birth, whether it is your first child or your 5th, I make it my personal goal to ensure that you have all the tools and encouragement that you need to make your birthing and postpartum experience as easy as possible. A Doula is your own personal advocate, your partner in the wonderful process of pregnancy and postpartum. I have received my training to provide these services through DONA (one of the most reputable training and certification providers in the US). I provide a myriad of services to support and advocate for you during and after your pregnancy .

Hi! My name is Jesse! I am a birth worker! I have always had a calling for Obstetrics and all that it encompasses along with medicine! So to fill those callings I became a doula and a EMT in 2023! I believe that being informed in all that we do is important. Knowledge is power. And when you are at your most vulnerable time (giving birth) it is the most vital time to have all the information and the most support. My goal it to keep my clients informed, answer any questions, find resources. And help try to facilitate the birth that is wanted. I am a judgement-free doula. And am here to be a support person for you.
