Hi, I’m Kristan! I’m the person behind Starlit Babies, a Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, and mom. I’ve spent more than 20 years working with children and families. I love helping parents figure out feeding, get comfortable caring for their newborn, and feel a little more like themselves along the way. My approach is practical and collaborative. I want to hear what’s working, what feels hard, and what you want help with. Whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, using formula, or combining them, we’ll work toward your goals with support that fits your life. Based in Santa Clara, I offer in-home lactation visits and daytime postpartum support throughout nearby Bay Area communities. You can book feeding support on its own or combine it with hands-on newborn care and education.

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m a BADT Certified Full Spectrum Doula providing compassionate birth and postpartum support. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, informed, and genuinely cared for throughout your journey. I believe this is your body, your baby, and your experience. I’m here to support your choices, help you understand your options, advocate for your voice, and create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you and your family. I welcome private-pay clients and also work with Blooming Families Doula Services, where eligible families may be able to use insurance. If you choose the insurance route, you’ll complete an intake with Blooming Families and can request me as your doula—or choose another doula if they feel like a better fit. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and confident knowing you have someone who truly cares in your corner.

My role as a birth doula is to create a safe space and empower all birthing persons to have a positive birth experience. I greatly enjoy working as a team with the birthing person, partner and caregivers.

I am a CAPPA-certified postpartum doula with extensive experience supporting families during the postpartum period. My approach is calm, gentle, and evidence-based, offering practical support with newborn care, feeding, recovery, and helping parents feel confident in the early weeks. I’m here to create a nurturing, peaceful environment so you can rest, bond, and recover.

I love the field on birth and babies. I have been to hundreds of births over the span of 12 years. I changed careers for a number of years as an EMT. Therefore, I have a strong medical background. Also, I am AHA certified in infant, children, adult CPR, and a certified newborn care specialist, and postpartum Doula. I have now created my own company as a Postpartum Doula serving Sonoma to San Francisco, and East Bay We have now expanded into the San Francisco and East Bay. I look forward to meeting the needs of each family as I am able to serve and work in what I am passionate about.

I am here to offer physical, emotional, and informational support before, during, and after labor, helping you feel calm, confident, and fully present for one of the most important moments of your life. My name is Reena, and I bring over 20 years of experience caring for infants and young children. I am a trained birth and postpartum doula, prenatal and postpartum yoga teacher, and have additional training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and postpartum recovery. I am also a mother and have homeschooled my son for the past seven years. I specialize in supporting families with babies ages 0-12 months. My care includes newborn and infant care, feeding support, soothing techniques, holding baby while parents rest or attend appointments, and light household tasks related to baby care. I believe the postpartum season is a profound transition, and I offer a calm, nurturing presence along with emotional support for new parents as they navigate this tender time. My name is Valerie Claxton, and I am an IBCLC, a certified childbirth educator, doula certified, and a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery living northern California. I have been on both sides of the labor and delivery journey as a nurse, I see mothers choosing what is best for them and advocating for them, whether going fully natural to using medicinal means to deliver. I know that with teamwork, belief, trust, releasing all fears, and encompassing a peaceful space that birthing your beautiful bundle will come easy. Yes, there are the unknowns but with constant communication and reassurance our relationship will be unbreakable.
