Erika Higginbottom
About me
Hello, I’m Erika Higginbottom. I’m an occupational therapist and I specialize in infant feeding, tongue ties, and precrawling infant development. I take a whole-body approach to feeding. I founded OT By Mommy after my difficult breastfeeding journey with my child. I wanted to provide resources, quality information, and concrete toys so no parent would have to feel as lost or isolated while feeding their baby as I did. Photo Credit: Michael Burchfiel

Service introduction
OT By Mommy provides whole-body support for infant feeding. If your baby is struggling with feeding, reflux, torticolis, tummy time, or has a tongue, lip, or buccal tie, OT By Mommy can be a great choice for therapy. We combine manual therapies (bodywork), oral motor work, therapeutic tummy time using the Tummy Time! Method, and other techniques. Parents will leave with concrete tools to support breastfeeding, development, and regulation.
