About the class

Your clients trust you with some of the most vulnerable moments of early parenthood...feeding questions WILL come up. You don't have to be an expert in lactation to support them, but you do need to be knowledgeable and know when to refer out.

In this live online class, you'll learn:

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

what typical newborn feeding looks like: frequency, cluster feeding, and where milk supply comes into play
updated protocols for handling engorgement
healthy basics of establishing breastfeeding like: babymoons, breast crawl, responsive feeding, and more
supporting families: help partners take an active role, modeling gentle language to respond to well-meaning but outdated advice, and helping clients think through their own feeding goals to make informed decisions
