Hello, We are looking for a Doula that is certified and accepts Tricare West coverage (we have Tricare Reserve Select). I am still working out my personal birth plan as we are very early in our pregnancy, but wanted to get a head start on finding a Doula that is the right fit. I would like to try to have an unmedicated birth, but still want to leave my options open for a medicated birth. I am also hoping to breastfeed and would appreciate a doula who is knowledgeable about breastfeeding and can provide some guidance during the postpartum period.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. I have no idea what this costs, but I’m looking for something inexpensive that accepts BCBS insurance. I’m going to work toward doing it as natural as possible. I am not anti-epidural but if I can have someone prepare me, I shouldn’t need it. My husband will be involved in my birth.
