I am planning to give birth at a hospital. I’m looking for a doula who can provide emotional support, help with breathing and relaxation, suggest different labor positions, and offer comfort measures like massage or counter-pressure. My goal is to have a calm and positive birth experience with supportive guidance during labor. I have Blue Cross community plan Medicare insurance. 😊

I will be giving birth in a hospital. However, I don’t have a birth plan yet. Which is one of the reason I would like a doula. As for a budget, I was hoping someone would take insurance or would be able to work thangs out through my insurance.

First pregnancy. Will be giving birth in hospital. Estimated budget of $1000-1500. Birth plan would be to stay as natural as possible, but not opposed to medical needs like an epidural if I decide I want one. Whether that be through breathing techniques, deferred sensation like a birth comb, water, etc. Want to avoid a C-section unless emergency demands it. Delayed cord clamp and immediate skin to skin as long as not an emergency. Want to try breastfeeding, and pumping, but not opposed to formula if needed.

Hi! My name is Makayla Borne. I’m a first time mother at 24 years old. I am currently 28 weeks and 3 days pregnant. To be completely honest I feel very under prepared. I have a few ideas as to what I want on my birth plan but definitely need help making an official one. I would just love it if someone with more experience and knowledge could help me out. I plan to give birth at Advocate Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL. I'm open to budget options. On my birth plan, it includes an expectation of vaginal delivery with husband and Doula present, no medical students in the room. I would like to use laboring tools, dim lights, free movement, light musics, quiet voices, and aromatherapy. I would like intermittent fetal monitoring. As far as pain management, breathing techniques, massages, hydrotherapy, and as a last resort an option/ open to epidural. My delivery options are squatting, standing/leaning or kneeling on all fours. Warm compress on perinuum. No delivery interventions. I would like to keep my placenta for encapsulation. For baby, skin to skin with golden hour, delayed cord clamping, breastfeeding and pumping (bottle feeding), delayed bath time, circumcision and no nursery stay (baby stays in room) also delay on vaccinations.

This is my first pregnancy. I have been doing research and trying to come up with a birth plan with my fiancé but we need a little more help. I also need a little help advocating for myself in the hospital while in labor I don’t know if the doctors and nurses will respect my wishes with a birth plan and how I want to deliver.

My due date is July 19, 2026. I plan to give birth at a hospital near Orland Hills, IL. I have Blue Cross Community Health Plans Medicaid and I am looking for a Medicaid-enrolled doula who can bill insurance directly. I would prefer an Arabic-speaking doula if possible. I am looking for prenatal visits, labor support at the hospital, and postpartum visits after birth. This is very important to me as I want emotional and physical support during labor.

I need a Christian who is patient kind and knowledgeable. Who puts my needs and desires first and helps to inform my husband of what I’ll need. Someone who is able to stand firm to the doctors for me and care for me with care and concern and wisdom.
