I plan to give birth in the hospital I’m looking for a doula who accepts my current insurance coverage from amerihealth/brightstart maternity program. My birth plan is currently a scheduled c section and minimal intervention with my baby unless deemed necessary. To breastfeed and no bath or immunizations after birth.

I am a first time mom. I plan on giving birth in a hostpital and would like someone there to support me before birth (maybe one or two sessions), during birth, and postpartum if I need it. I don't have a budget and I hope to have an unmedicated birth but that's as far as I have gotten in my birth plan.

I plan on giving birth in a hospital but want a doula to be there to act as my advocate. I definitely want an epidural but I don’t want to be confined to pushing on my back and I don’t want to purple push. I also want to avoid things like an episiotomy and I do not want any students in the room at all. I basically just need someone to stand up for my wants and needs as I go through labor.

I plan on giving birth at St francis on the Southside of Indianapolis but I live on the slight north east of indianapolis. I plan on using insurance to cover the cost. We are on one income and we don't have enough to cover the cost. I just want an extra set of eyes and hears so the hospital don't screw over on my health nor my unborn child heath.

I was originally planning to give birth at home but that has pivoted to the hospital now. I had an outside doula I hired at the beginning of my pregnancy but due to personal financial strain, I had to cancel her services. Therefore, I don’t have money to pay for a doula currently. I am expecting my first baby and I’ve always wanted a completely natural birth as I am aware that my body is made to birth. I am being told my baby is measuring big due to gestational diabetes and during my appointment today my OB mentioned a c-section as well as the potential of my baby’s shoulders getting stuck and the complications/risks that come with having a “big” baby. I also do not want to be induced. I want to let my body and baby do what it needs to do when it’s ready and not by force. For the sake of our health I will do things that I may not be most comfortable with if it’s absolutely needed. I don’t believe I need to be forced into an induction or a c-section because baby is big. I want to be able to walk around while in labor, sleep, eat small snacks, get into a tub of water, use a birth ball and deliver in the water or on all fours if possible. I simply want to do everything in my power to make my birthing experience a memorable moment and not a traumatic moment.

I plan to give birth in the hospital , I am getting a c-section for the second time, I have really low budget and I’m new to this but I don’t have support and my husband can’t stay long considering we need bills paid and I really don’t to do this alone but I need some one to maintain my home help me and my 1 year old but I mostly want to be with the new born unless I’m comfortable other wise and getting my sleep is very important ☺️

With my first I labored 24 hours, then with my second I labored 6 hours. Felt like with my second I could have done it natural if I just had some support as far as during labor with positioning and coaching and such. I labored 5.5 hours, got the epidural, and within like 5 minutes of epidural he was here. Not opposed at all to epidural if needed but would love to try to do it natural

I just discovered your information through Aetna Better Health Medicaid. Are you in network or have they made a mistake? I was digging and discovered reimbursement information for Medicaid covered doula services. I am mostly interested in prenatal and birth doula. I had a doula with my 1st of 6 children, only 1 was medicated and this is my last pregnancy but I always wished Medicaid would come on board. My new partner is uneducated to unmedicated birth or doulas and was completely helpless during our last child’s birth and I would really like better support this time around.

I would like to give birth in a hospital or find an adequate birthing center. I would like a provider that is either black or has extensive experience working with pregnant black women. I hope to use my insurance to cover most of the expenses. But I am willing to pay some out of pocket expenses. I am newly pregnant so I do not have a birth plan. That is something I would like help figuring out with a provider.
