Scheduled C-Section at Norfolk General Hospital - Norfolk, VA first week of March I have anthem blue cross blue shield as well as Carrot and have no problem paying a package/hourly I am high risk and dealing with many medical issues, I need Prepartum support (Light house duties, help with 2 year old, help with meals or meal plans, helping plan my delivery bag and nursery) I struggle to lift and walk with severe pelvic dysfunction and need help with relaxation and self care. I need to stay calm and have a lower heart rate during delivery due to POTS (I can easily pass out with high heart rate) I need the same care postpartum as well as I will be recovering from a C-section.

Help with feeding and night time soothing for newborn

My husband and I are both pediatricians (but specialists). This is our first child (a boy)! We plan to deliver at Mayo Clinic. Birth plan consists of a hospital birth, most likely an epidural, and we are open to the care that the doctors recommend. We are not sure yet if we will need a night nurse, but we wanted to meet with a couple of people in the case that we do decide that we could really use the help. We are hoping to spend under $700 for a 12 hour shift (or less if the time is shorter than 12 hours). We are not sure if we would want someone for just a night or two here and there, or for a full 1-2 weeks straight. We will also have help from my parents and then my husband's parents once my parents leave.

Hi - We are looking for a nanny for our son, Max. He was born on 10/18. I’m currently on maternity leave but will return to work on 1/7. I’d like to start with someone a few hours a day now (4-6 hrs) and then transition to full time if all works out when I return to work in January. We are Dan and Huong and live in Croatan in Virginia Beach. Max was born via surrogate after 8 years of infertility. I work from home and Dan goes to work daily. I’m from the DC area but my background is Vietnamese. Dan grew up in Ohio and his background is Ukrainian. We are looking for someone with someone with vaccinations as Max is so young: TDAP, Covid, flu. Experience infant care, can help with diapering, feeding, active wake windows, getting Max down for naps. We have a sweet 12 year old poodle - so must be okay with dogs (but you don’t need to walk him). The only housework we’d need is related to Max - getting his bottles loaded and unloaded in the washer, and his laundry on occasion, keeping his room and play area tidy. Looking for postpartum night doulas to watch baby at night to let the parents sleep, the baby needs to be fed every 3 hours so you’ll be responsible for 11 pm, 2 am and 5 am feeds and changing diapers and making sure he goes back to sleep and taking care when he wakes up.
