Giving birth at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Insurance coverage - Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Hoping to have a vaginal birth. Kneeling birthing position (not on back unless absolutely necessary). Unable to have an epidural. Hospital has minimal pain management options (maybe some local because I asked about it. Our 4month old is still waking very two hours overnight. After 4 months, mom’s exhaustion is becoming dangerous so we seek some help at night with giving the baby feeds, settling him, and hopefully helping him learn to sleep longer. He is exclusively breastfed has no health issues aside from some reflux and food sensitivities which have mom on a strict diet. Mom pumps during the day for daycare and will pump at night. We can pay $35/hr
I am having twins. It’s our first. We need night help and maybe day help. I will give birth at a hospital. Ideally would like Monday through Friday help for 8-12 hours to start. $750 a week but understand if it’s more because of twins.
We have three kids with a fourth arriving in July. We are experienced parents, but TIRED and looking for help during birth and in the first 2-3 months after birth at night. I breastfeed and it normally falls on me at night, but my husband does help with diapers and non feeding needs overnight. Birth plan: have a healthy baby. That's looked different for all three kids, so we are open minded. Hospital: we aren't sure yet, but ideally a hospital with a robust NNICU
Due date is 6/28, planning for a vagina birth but have a scheduled c section on 6/29. I’ll hit 37 weeks on 6/8. Looking for support while in hospital through labor and post partum as family support may be limited. Once home I’ll need help with night feedings, I currently have a 2 year old. I plan on nursing and pumping.
