My husband and I are thrilled to be welcoming twins via surrogate in the Rockford area soon — our induction date is 4/6 but, of course, they might arrive sooner. We realize this is quite last-minute, but we would be interested in overnight care for the first week or so once they’re back from the hospital. (We then fly home to SF.) Do you have any availability in the next 1-3 weeks (we won’t yet know how soon they’ll come or if they need NICU time, of course)? Medical needs. Feeding tube with feeds every three hours. Needs to understand medical equipment and follow a feeding schedule/ nutrition plan.

I plan to deliver in the hospital. I am a first time mom and still have not much idea about the delivery and everything after that. Maybe we can benefit with a night nanny. If I can have an all natural birth, that would be wonderful. But whatever is best for the baby and me.

I need a certified doula to help at night a couple times a week. I really need a full nights rest. During the night they will be in charge of a 8 week old. They are to feed and change his diaper. It will also be helpful to put together my pump parts and bring it to me once during the night. Average time would be 12am-8am. No budget.

We plan to give birth at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. We plan to use an epidural like we did for the first birth and follow standard medical guidelines. We are fortunate to receive a $30,000 benefit from my company to use toward eligible doula services so that is our budget although given the mostly part-time nature of this role, I think that should be more than enough for our needs.
