I would like a doula who can help educate me on all my options around birth and how to best prepare for that. I'd also like them to be present when I'm giving birth, and potentially post partum care. I'm giving birth at Central Dupage Hospital. I learned today that my insurance plan covers doulas that are in-network, so ideally they would be in-network with BCBSIL. I don't know my birth plan, I would like help figuring that out.

I am a trans woman planning a labor simulation experience at home for personal gender identity reasons using medical-grade EMS equipment to simulate contractions over approximately 17 hours. I am looking for a gender-affirming doula willing to provide virtual support including breathing coaching, position guidance, and safety monitoring during the simulation. My budget is flexible with financial hardship — sliding scale or reduced rates appreciated. I am not seeking support for an actual birth.
