I am looking for prenatal visits, labor support at the hospital, and postpartum visits after birth. This is very important to me as I want emotional and physical support during labor.

I’m a first time mom in need of a doula or services that can help me through labor & delivery with low need for medicinal intervention. i am also looking for services for baby and i after birth. I plan to give birth at the university of chicago on maryland ave & i am hoping my insurance can cover most if not all costs. i am covered under bcbsil under my employer.

I plan to give birth at Advocate Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL. I'm open to budget options. On my birth plan, it includes an expectation of vaginal delivery with husband and Doula present, no medical students in the room. I would like to use laboring tools, dim lights, free movement, light musics, quiet voices, and aromatherapy. I would like intermittent fetal monitoring. As far as pain management, breathing techniques, massages, hydrotherapy, and as a last resort an option/ open to epidural. Looking to give birth at Prentice Women's Hospital in the city. I'd like to go a mostly natural birthing route, but would like the hospital environment for the "just in case" piece of birth. I am a first time mom and my husband and I want someone who we can get to know well, and who will spend time with us answering all of our questions. We have vaccine questions, we want to do delayed cord clamping, we would like a vaginal birth (unless dangerous for me or baby), we would like skin to skin immediately, we would like to try to not be induced if that's possible.
