This is my first time inquiring about doula services
I'm 35 and am having a low-risk pregnancy, my first child. I would love a doula to help advocate for me, in addition to my partner, and help with emotional support as I navigate this new experience. 1. I plan to give birth at a hospital near Downers Grove (we still need to tour hospitals) 2. No set budget/flexible 3. Early labor at home, low dose epidural at hospital, have a healthy baby, and accept intervention as needed. I'm an epidemiologist and will inform my decisions based on best available data.

I’m a first-time mom planning a hospital birth, and I’m looking for a doula who can help guide me through the process and options, especially since I’m still figuring out what I want my birth plan to look like. I’m feeling a bit torn between wanting to stay mobile during labor and pushing in a position other than on my back, while also considering the possibility of an epidural. I’d love support understanding how those options can work together and what flexibility looks like in a hospital setting. I’m also looking for help with lactation and postpartum feeding. I want to breastfeed but am planning to combo feed, and I’d really appreciate guidance on how to do that in a way that supports my milk supply and feels manageable as a first-time mom. Overall, I’m hoping for someone who can educate me, help me feel confident in my choices, advocate for me during labor if needed, and support me both during birth and in the early postpartum period.
Just someone who can be there with me and speak up for me when I can't and help me have an easy birth while being high risk pregnant
I am doing a home birth and I already have a provider. They require me to have a Doula. I am wondering if there is someone in network with my insurance BCBS PPO

Hospital first time birth. $1000 budget or less. Birth plan not made yet but plan to do the least intrusive to no intervention/medication possible
I would like a doula who can help educate me on all my options around birth and how to best prepare for that. I'd also like them to be present when I'm giving birth, and potentially post partum care. I'm giving birth at Central Dupage Hospital. I learned today that my insurance plan covers doulas that are in-network, so ideally they would be in-network with BCBSIL. I don't know my birth plan, I would like help figuring that out.
I plan to give birth at home using a water birth, budget is $100-$1500. Doula should have at least 4 years of experience and an elderly doula would be preferred
someone who can communicate my wishes during birth in hospital budget 1500 or so I really would love a natural birth, I dont want to be induced, and I dont want pitocin.
Hi I am looking for a doula to support me during labor and possibly postpartum. I am interested in using my BCBS PPO insurance. Thanks
I plan to give birth at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. I am looking for a supportive and experienced midwife who can help guide me through a natural birth. My goal is to have as natural of a labor and delivery as possible, using breathing techniques, movement, and positioning to manage pain. Medical interventions would be my last resort, but I understand they may be necessary if there are safety concerns for me or my baby. I would like someone who is patient, encouraging, and communicates well so I feel supported and calm throughout the process. My budget is flexible depending on the services provided.
This is my second birth. I plan to have an unmedicated hospital birth at Lutheran General Hospital. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.
good samaritan hospital. goal is to attempt a VBAC. My births will be about 16 months apart.
1) Central DuPage HospitaL 2) I would like to spend no more than $1,000 for a birth doula. May consider other services as well 3) VBAC, avoid c-section (very traumatic), open to all pain relief options but want epidural to be the last resort, open to medical interventions if other suggestions (walking, taking a shower, peanut ball, or different laboring positions) don't work
