My intention is for a calm, quiet, and intuitive home birth. I want to labor in peace, with gentle music, dim light, and minimal conversation. My partner will be hands-on and involved, while the midwife holds space quietly in the background—calm, confident, and only intervening when necessary. I prefer natural pain management and no interventions unless truly essential. I want full transparency and to be informed before any action is taken. When my baby is born, I want to catch them myself if possible, with immediate skin-to-skin contact. We will delay cord clamping until the placenta is delivered. The space should remain peaceful—no rush, no noise, just presence.
