I would prefer a home birth, but understand that some complications may change that, if any show up in the pregnancy. We're hoping to stay under $5000. I want to try for a natural birth, using essential oils to help with pain and bleeding. I think a water birth could be nice. I just don't want tp lay on my back, as that has never been comfortable for me, even before pregnancy. I dont want to interfere with things to make them go faster. I would like my body to be properly dilated at its own pace, and birth the placenta when it is ready to come out, rather than tugging the umbilical cord. I do not want to pull the baby's head for a one push delivery. I think a two push delivery is safe, if the baby doesn't completely exit first push.

Planning a home birth with a free birth atmosphere. Under watch of a midwife who will intervine but will mainly observe to make sure everything’s running smoothly. Second baby, first birth was at a birthing center with no complications!

I would love to give birth in the Orem community hospital. This is my 6th baby, I’ve gone natural birth with my last 3 but have just never felt a lot of support when in comes to pushing. I really don’t want to give birth on my back again. Ideally I’d be able to work through insurance.

I haven't seen a doctor yet, due to insurance. I do have Medicaid now. I would rather give birth in a birthing center rather than a hospital. I live in Richfield Utah and would prefer not to give birth in this town. Medicaid is what I am working with is covered .

I just know I want it to be slow and calm as much as possible. With my last two pregnancies I also had cholestasis, so that would need to be monitored and I may need to deliver the baby at 37 weeks. I really want to do this. And I know I can.

My birthing center is closing and won't be accepting births after April 20th. I am due may 19th I conceived 2 months before before my youngest turned one. I wanted to see if I can find a midwife that does home births that will accept united health care community plan insurance. This is my third pregnancy and I really do not want to go to the hospital again and be forced to labor the way they want to.i want an at home birth if possible . I want to be touched as little as possible this time round (minimum cervical checks and I want to be able to move freely and birth in a position that feels best for me .

Pushing & Birth - Push with my body’s urge (no coached counting unless needed). - Flexible positions (hands-and-knees, side-lying, squat, in water if safe). - Partner/support person involved as desired. After Birth (Baby) - Immediate skin-to-skin, keep baby with me. - Delayed cord clamping; partner cuts cord if desired. - Delay weighing/vitamin K/eye ointment until after first feed and bonding (unless urgent). - Breast support when ready. After Birth (Me) - Monitor bleeding closely; treat promptly if heavy. - Placenta (third stage) plan: discuss at birth (see options below). - Transfer Plan (if needed) If transfer recommended, explain why & next steps. I plan to give birth at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. I live close by and feel most comfortable delivering there because it is near my home and support system. I am specifically hoping to find a midwifery or OB practice that delivers at Mercy Gilbert and supports physiologic, low-intervention birth whenever medically safe. I currently have Cigna insurance and am seeking an in-network provider. My goal is to stay within my insurance coverage and understand costs clearly ahead of time. I am open to discussing payment plans if needed, but I would prefer a provider who accepts Cigna and can outline estimated prenatal, delivery, and postpartum costs. I strongly desire a low-intervention, natural birth if medically safe for me and my baby. I understand that I may be monitored more closely due to blood pressure concerns, but I want to work with a provider who does not automatically treat me as a “high-risk C-section patient” unless it is truly medically necessary.
