About me

Hi, I’m the heart behind Wild Birthing Co. My journey into birthwork began with my own unmedicated birth—an experience that completely transformed me and awakened a deep desire to help women birth in God’s glory, power, and peace. I’m a Certified Doula through Pain Free Birth, a program rooted in undisturbed, unmedicated birth support, and I also trained with Purely Doula. I’m currently working toward becoming both an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Birthing from Within Childbirth Educator, blending clinical knowledge with creative, spiritual preparation. My approach weaves holistic traditions, ritual, and mindset work—using tools like birth art, journaling, and body-centered practices to help women connect deeply with themselves and their birth story. My dream is to offer perinatal healthcare that bridges Eastern wisdom and evidence-based care, honoring the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Birth Essentials Package
This offering is for the mother ready to surrender to her instincts and birth her way. You'll receive intentional, heart-centered care. Initial Consultation We’ll connect to discuss your birth vision, values, and how I can walk beside you as a trusted member of your birth team. Two Prenatal Sessions: Session 1: The Grounding – Birth Basics + Embodied Preparation (90 min) This session offers a foundational, “crash course” in birth physiology, comfort measures, and birth planning. We’ll explore how labor works, how your body opens, and how to prepare for the sensations of birth. Together we’ll explore your birth preferences and begin building your toolkit for movement, breath, and coping Session 2: The Descent – Heart Mentoring & Inner Knowing (60 min) Birth is not just a physical journey—it’s a rite of passage. This session is where we shift inward, preparing your heart and spirit for the threshold of labor. We’ll explore what it means to “lose it” in labor and why that’s not a failure but a sacred unraveling. Through birth art, journaling, and guided breath practices, you’ll begin to trust your inner wisdom and find tools for staying present in the unknown. You’ll leave this session feeling resourced, courageous, and deeply connected to your inner compass. Continuous Labor Support I offer virtual support during early labor, when active labor unfolds, I’ll be by your side. I bring a toolkit of comfort techniques like massage, rebozo work, aromatherapy, soft lighting, and affirmation rituals to help you stay connected and surrendered. I hold space for every emotion and ensure your voice is heard, so you can rest, bond, and cross this first threshold feeling seen and fully supported. Gia was such a grounding presence throughout my pregnancy and birth. She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel supported the whole way through. From our prenatal visits to labor support, I felt like I had someone in my corner who truly cared. So grateful for her!

I gave birth at Kaiser and ended up being induced, which wasn’t part of my original plan—but having Gia as my doula made all the difference. She helped me feel informed and confident going into the induction, and was such a steady, calming presence during the whole process. She talked me through my options, helped with positioning to get things moving, and supported both me and my partner through every stage. Even when things got intense, her voice and hands kept me grounded. I truly don’t know how I would’ve done it without her. If you're giving birth at Kaiser and want someone who will advocate for you and help you stay connected to your body and your choices—she’s it.
