Birthing from Within: Childbirth Education As a Birthing from Within trained Childbirth Educator, we learn about childbirth in two ways: modern/medical knowing and inner/intuitive knowing. Topics covered include: Stages of Labor, Pushing, Optimal Fetal Positioning, Medical Interventions, Pain Coping/Management, Comfort Measures, Postpartum Recovery, Breastfeeding/Lactation and Newborn Care. Intuitive/Embodied Practices Include: Birth Art, Role Playing, Journaling, Reflecting, and Movement We explore these and many other topics in four live online sessions together over the course of four weeks. Group classes and 1:1 Sessions available.
