About me

Hi! I'm Gigi; I'm a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, and non-toxic educator.I empower families, so once baby arrives, they can focus on resting and bonding instead of researching or stressing. I streamline the newborn learning curve and guide birth parents, partners, and other family members. There isn’t ONE way to have and raise a little human. I’m here to assist parents as they find THEIR way so that they can thrive in the fourth trimester and beyond. Service introduction

My packages start at one-month and go all the way to two or three months. We’ll begin with a Prenatal Planning meeting, where I deliver research-based information about birth and postpartum along with tons of tools and resources; I’ll also be able to answer any questions that you might have or refer you to someone who can answer them. Then, once baby arrives home, I’ll begin visiting two to three times per week. I’ll give you opportunities to rest and bond with your baby and be a constant resource.

What do postpartum packages include?

We begin with a prenatal meeting during the third trimester where we see if we are a good fit. I learn what you need and answer your questions with evidence-based information. We will make a plan for the fourth trimester. After baby arrives, I am there to - help create a support system - give evidence-based informational support for postpartum and newborn questions - support with feeding, body or bottle -empathize and listen to provide non-judgmental emotional support - inform regarding healthy sleep habits - care for older siblings - cook light meals and snacks - run small errands - give parents time to bond and rest by performing light household duties, such as washing dishes or laundry - help to implement a routine that benefits both parents and baby

What would our postpartum support schedule be?

I begin once you’re home with baby. Most clients prefer me to visit 2 -3 days each week for 5 - 6 hour shifts. We will set your schedule at least two weeks before your due date; then, depending on our availability, we can change it if it isn't benefiting you. My shifts are usually around 9 - 3 for daytime, but I often work afternoon or evening shifts. While some doulas are available for 12 - 24 hour-shifts, as a parent of little ones, I am not able to do that at this time. We will work together to find the best schedule for you.

Do you offer payment plans?

YUP! I want as many people to have the chance to hire a postpartum doula as possible. For most clients, my packages are paid in three installments. However, I’ve altered packages and created unique payment plans for customers.
