I plan to give birth in the hospital. I want to attempt unmedicated. I’m wanting to find a doula that is covered by my insurance. I do not have a birth plan at all but would like some guidance in making one.

Going to give birth at the hospital since it is my first in the future maybe at home. I want someone i can talk to and have conversations to distract while in between contractions. I want an un-medicated birth. I'm interested in nitrous oxide. Would love to have someone with at least 10-15 years of experience. I'm not religious or super spiritual. We can talk about budget I'm learning as i go. I would like someone to help with labor positions, feeding and postpartum care. My husband is going to be there as well. Need extra support just due to both of us being new parents. Our insurance is anthem blue cross blue shield.

I only have acchs insurance right now and not working. I am also an African American women on baby 3 so I would like someone who at least is familiar with my background. Ideally, I would like someone who can visit my home a few times a week during the early postpartum period to help with massage and recovery guidance. Hi there, I'm just trying to find an in-person doula in my covered insurance network with AZ BCBS PPO. I'm having a water birth in-center at the Tempe Birth Center in Tempe, Arizona 85281. This is my first pregnancy and I don't have any local family or any family able to support during the birth (permanently disabled/wheelchaired mother) so hoping to get any kind of guidance or support that I can find with a doula!

I am terrified. Baby actual due date is May 15 but doctor does not want me going full 40 weeks due to being high risk. I am 37 years old and had severe preeclampsia with my last pregnancy. We had not much help at all from family since both my husband’s mother and my mother have passed. My aunt was able to help for a week but she lives in Cabo and wasn’t here at night. Husband won’t be able to take work off this time. So I’m expected to do this solo and it’s overwhelming. He’s more anxious than me! And my only support during birth. So I’m looking for someone that can help me through the C-section and after through that 4th trimester. I’m blessed to have insurance. I had no idea insurance could help with this last time or we would have done it! Im excited to think that I could actually get some help and it’s giving me hope. Thank you.
