I plan to give birth in a hospital. I attend North Valley women’s care but I just moved to Arizona and I’m very nervous about birth due to the reviews on hospitals around. I only have acchs insurance right now and not working. I am also an African American women on baby 3 so I would like someone who at least is familiar with my background. I just want someone who can listen to my needs and wants and just show up for me and coach me through this time in my life.

I recently delivered my baby and I’m looking for a postpartum doula who can come to my home and provide Ayurvedic postpartum massage and recovery support. My body is quite sore after delivery, and I’m hoping to find someone experienced in traditional Ayurvedic postpartum care (such as Abhyanga oil massage, gentle bodywork, and recovery practices). Ideally, I would like someone who can visit my home a few times a week during the early postpartum period to help with massage and recovery guidance. Experience with Ayurvedic or Indian-style postpartum care would be preferred. My budget is around $40–$60 per hour, but I’m open to discussing options depending on the services offered.

I plan to give birth at a hospital, with potentially maybe in a tube with water to help relax! I was hoping to get coverage by insurance! I am covered through United healthcare! I do t necessarily have a birth plan yet since it’s my first, however I am planning natural as possible with techniques to help me prepare for labor! I need a better exercise routine that I can tolerate as most I have seen are difficult due to pressure on my feet and calf’s!
