We are giving birth in Hackensack hospital. This is our first child. Our budget is approx. max 1,000. We currently plan on having a natural birth and would like to have someone who can help us feel comfortable, confident, and prepared the best we can be.
Assistance in the hospital after the baby is born because I'm having another C-section, including some assistance with breastfeeding. Preferably someone around my age. I want my husband to mostly stay home with our toddler during this time.
Planning to give birth in a hospital setting but need a doula to help through the birthing process as this is our first child. Would like to have as natural of a birth as possible. No epidural or pain meds. I want to try to not give birth on my back and do what is natural for my body. Delayed cord clamping until cord is white. Unsure how much these services cost, but hoping to have insurance cover

Hi, I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and located near Ridgefield, NJ. I have Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield — do you accept it directly or is it reimbursement? I’m looking for childbirth preparation support, including breathing techniques, exercises, and overall guidance for labor. Also, do you offer in-home sessions, or would I need to come to your location? Thank you!
Hi - My wife is 29 weeks pregnant and expecting in April. We are seeking a doula who can support her in her journey and in the child’s birth. Our biggest need is not a cheerleader but instead someone who can represent us and our needs with the hospital leading up to the birth and at the hospital during labor, delivery, and post delivery. More like a wedding planner and less like an emotional support person. Would love to make a decision within the next two weeks.
Hello! I am currently pregnant with twins! I am planning to give birth at Hackensack University Medical Center. I am excited for birth and hopeful to have a natural, physiological birth. My OB practice also values a vaginal birth. I am not sure what to expect for budget for a doula, however, my budget would be around $1,000. I would love to have as little interventions during birth as possible. It’s very important that as soon as the babies come out I am able to hold them immediately. I would like to delay the cord clamping, and delay first bath as well. I also planning to breastfeed twins and would love education and support to be as effective as possible in that area!

I need a doula who can help me and newborn baby on 4/3 and 4/5.
This is my second child after 14 years. I am starting all over and it will be my first time breastfeeding as well. I gave birth to my first daughter at the age of 14 years old. This birth and postpartum experience will be completely different. I plan to give birth at Holy Name in Teaneck, NJ. Interested if accepted by Medicaid. Also prefer someone that speaks English and Spanish.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. I would like to pay as little as possible. Birth Plan: • I would like to have music playing w. Aromatherapy. • I prefer to move around freely during labor. • I would like access to birthing balls, showers (if applicable). • I’d like intermittent monitoring instead of continuous, if safe. • Pain relief: I prefer to try natural methods first (breathing, massage, movement), Delivery Preferences • I would like to push in positions that feel most comfortable (squatting, side-lying, hands-and-knees). • I prefer minimal coached pushing unless necessary. • I’d like the option of mirror use or touching my baby’s head as they crown. • If a C-section becomes necessary, I’d like my partner present and skin-to-skin contact as soon as possible. ⸻ Newborn Care • Immediate skin-to-skin after birth, if baby is stable. • Delay cord clamping until it stops pulsating. • Breastfeed as soon as possible after delivery. • I prefer routine newborn procedures (vitamin K, eye ointment, weight, bath) delayed until after bonding and first feeding. I do not want the baby vaccinated. But the vitamin K shot would be fine considering I’d like for him to be circumcised. • I would like for the baby to stay in the room with me.
