I try to live a more holistic life style these days and after becoming aware of the pharmaceutical industry and how they operate in the US. I’m very frightened and would love to work on having a VBAC for this child. I would love to look into home birth, but I don’t know much about it, I’m interested in knowing prices to know if it’s something my family can afford. I also wouldn’t mind a facility that provides the room if thats more affordable. I have no idea as to how much all of this cost so would want a run down. I currently have la healthcare as medical and I know it’s a long shot as to anyone receiving medical through here. But thought I would give it a try as well if I can save myself from paying out of pocket. Budget for me would be about $2000 I would say? I want to do things as naturally as I can and allow my body to take its course during labor. I want to avoid interferences as much possible and even avoid cord clamping, or medications. Be as relaxed and mentally trained as possible for birth.

Interested in VBAC support. After a traumatic first birth, I’m looking for a healing second birth.

I have Anthem Blue Cross PPO insurance and I am looking for a doula who is in-network with Anthem or who can bill insurance directly, as I prefer not to pay out of pocket. I am looking for prenatal visits, labor support at the hospital, postpartum home visits, and help with newborn care and sleep training. Spanish-speaking preferred. Certified doula with hospital birth experience preferred.
