My name is Hannah Shaw and I am a traditional Christian midwife. My passion is to serve women in the childbearing years. What started as a desire to help reduce unnecessary cesareans, turned into a journey to help all women feel empowered by their birth experiences. Giving women informed choice, so that way we can change the narrative on birth one generation at a time.
This includes all prenatal care, birth, and postpartum care.
I provide homebirth midwifery care, by building a relationship with you and your family. Putting a large emphasis on nutrition, movement, and knowing what each mother wants from their homebirth. Homebirth isn’t the only result we want, but a safe, happy healthy mother and baby.
I used Hannah for my first home birth and she was amazing. She was very kind and respectful. She was also always available, and made herself available for concerns and worries. Very knowledgeable. I hope many more moms get to have great experiences with her. She was a very reassuring and calming presence during labor, and I don't know what I would have done without her. Hannah was very sweet and fun to talk to. She was reassured me at times where I was worried. She would visit me in my home where I was most comfortable. Although I did not have her as my midwife for my whole pregnancy due to moving, she was very helpful when she was.
