I am looking for a very experienced doula who can help my husband and I prepare for a hospital delivery. It is important for me to have someone with a calming presence who can guide my husband and I through the birthing process. I would like to labor on my own for as long as possible before getting an epidural(if needed) so having someone there to help with this would be beneficial.
I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal. I understand despite some things are out of my control, I can help myself to have a better delivery and post partum outcome. 1. Monmouth Medical Center 2. Unsure, I am looking to see if I have insurance coverage.

We prefer an experienced provider (3+ years) who can help us take care of our 4 month old during the day, such as feeding him, holding him while he falls asleep, and playing with him while he is awake. We want the provider to be able to help us cook or prepare meals as well. We are open to part time and full time but prefer part time to start as we are new to parenting. Our maximum budget is $35/hr

I am giving birth at St Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. I have not finalized my birth plan yet, but I plan on taking the epidural. I am looking for support pre and post birth. I don't have a specific budget in mind. It will depend on the kind of services I ultimately decide on. Pre-labor, I am looking for guidance on labor prep, ways to avoid tearing, mental health support as I have a lot of anxiety about the pain of delivery. I would like a doula present at my delivery. The options I am looking at for post birth is general guidance on recovery and potentially food preparation.
