I need help during labor process, vaginal no tear
I am a first time mommy needing a doula midwife and night time nanny
I wouldn't mind a hospital birth, but a water birth is my choice. I have insurance with Aetna, so whatever my insurance doesn't cover is my budget...? If you don't work with insurance, ideally I'm not trying to go over 6k. I prefer a holistic and natural approach. I need someone I can contact easily that will respond withing a couple hours and not 24 hours. I prefer a midwife/doula that is a POC, has a background in ancient traditional birthing, and knows herbs better than me. I don't want Westernized typical American care where I'm just another dollar to the facility and not a patient growing a little human. Ideally, my midwife/doula is compassionate, can be funny where space allows, and is very knowledgeable and can handle emergencies if the case cause for it rather than automatically pressing for cesarean.
Hopsital birth I'd like to have my labor photographed or filmed. I'd like to move around freely during labor. I'd like intermittent or wireless fetal monitoring. I'd like to let my water break naturally. I'd like to use these labor props: I PLAN ON HAVING A NATURAL BIRTH NO MEDICATION PLEASE DONT OFFER. DELIVERY When it's time to push, I'd like to be allowed to push when and how I feel I should. I'd like to choose the position I deliver in. I'd like to touch my baby's head as it crowns. If I have a c-section, I'd like to have the drape lowered so I can view the birth. 3000 is my budget

This is my first baby. My family lives in California and I live in Long Beach. So I’m in need of learning the do’s and don’ts of childbirth and afterbirth care. Also prepping my body for delivery. Ideally I would like to have a water birth because it seems safer for the baby and I. By research I’ve seen most doula’s cost $25 an hour. I do have insurance and I’m hoping that can help with the finances.
Hi! I’m 26 weeks pregnant with our baby girl (due June 11) and planning to deliver in Houston, at a hospital. I have TRICARE West Prime and am hoping to find a doula who accepts TRICARE and is familiar with the authorization process. I’m also hoping to work with a Christian doula whose support aligns with our faith and values. I’m looking for calm, encouraging labor support and would love to connect to see if we’d be a good fit. Thank you so much!
